tbh i like kestrel as a character and i found her interesting, i like the way losing her dragonets led her to become cruel and abusive and that was very realistic. however, people who say she's "overly hated" need to realize that, while there was a reason behind her actions, it was an explanation and not an excuse.
there will never be an excuse for abusing ANYONE, and the fact that there was a reason for it doesn't make her behavior towards the dragonets of destiny any more okay. it just explains them.
i like dune but i found him kinda bland, that's all i rlly have to say abt him.
i rlly liked webs, he's cute imo. he was also the nicest towards the dragonets of destiny and i'm pretty glad he ended up being the one who survived, although i can only imagine how kestrel and dune's deaths affected him as well as all the other trauma in his past. at least he gets to live a (mostly) peaceful life now, imo he deserves it :)
