I wake up not knowing my alarm went off 2 hours ago.

I sigh. And get up afterwards and go to work, seeing my co-workers there already teasing me for being late except for Ninomae Inanis, We've been friends for a real while now, still remembering the highschool memories that we had in school.

"You're pretty late Y/N-san." Ina quickly hovered her hands to her desk quickly trying to not waste time, trying to finish up her work, well half way done specifically.

"I know, I know." I said in a cold tone, going to my own desk. It doesn't really seem that special except for the computer i have to work on.

"You should start getting to work now, you don't wanna waste your time on this boring place right?" Well, she is right. I wanna get things done as soon as possible just like her, wonder if i can do something interesting staying at work.

I lay my hands on the keyboard, still indecisive on what to do. I quickly start working and typing on what we need to do.

A few hours later, Ina stood up and shutting down her computer and hurrying up to finally rest and possibly watch anime or manga. Shes that type of person, well atleast I think it is.

"Y/N-san, why aren't you going to your home now, It's pointless to stay here."
I look at the clock noticing that its almost lunch time, I guess i could stay here for a while and make a change for once.

"You can go home first Ina, it's fine. I'll go later." She looks at me with a confused look then proceeds to leave. I decide to stay for a while.

"Tsk, What even is the point to leaving early. You get plenty of time eating while talking with friends in lunch time and go stay out with them in the afternoon."

Hearing what my co-worker said made me a bit angry. Who would spend time working then hang out and get scolded everytime from the Manager, I dont get it.

After a bit more time passing by, every one of my co-workers begin to leave except for me, I get a bit of coffee to relax my head and to not be bored.

Finishing up my work now, I decide to leave the building. I carefully go down the stairs leading to the exit.

I go outside and head my way home, Though i see something unusual at this time of day. I see a cat meowing in a box, who could possibly leave this here?

I quickly pick the box up with the cat, It felt more at ease with me. I decide to take it home and take care of it.

A few mins later, still holding the box with the cat. I arrived home as soon as i noticed it, I enter my house as i lay the cat in my living room.

(It doesn't seem to hate me...)

I lift it up and put it on my lap.

( It seems comfortable for me and the cat.... I feel a bit sleepy.....)

As long as i knew it, I was already sleeping.

I suddenly wake up hearing something.

"Um, are you awake nyan?"

(A girl?! W-With CAT EARS?!)
