"Um, are you awake nyan?"

(A girl?! W-WITH CAT EARS?!)

"W-Wha-!" I flinch, I lighty shake my head thinking that this is all just a  dream. Looking at the time it was already 7 PM.

The girl right there had blonde hair, and blue ocean eyes, her clothes were looking like they're from a detective of some sort. She had fluffy cat ears... and a cat tail...

"Are you my master nyan?" She looked at me playfully as we hear a doorbell, she pushed me down playfully.

"Y/N-san, are you there?" I hear Ina's voice. Panicking, I try to to get off the couch with the blonde, but she's still pinning me down on top of me playfully.

"If you don't open this door, i'll open it myself." The doorknob intensely getting louder. "G-Get off!-"

It was too late, Ina had got in my house with the blonde on top of me in a weird position.

"U-Uh... h-hey Ina..." I say in a nervous and awkward tone. "It's not what it looks like-" She closes the door loudly and hear her going back to her house.

I quickly get the blonde cat away from me.

"W-Who even are you?!" She giggles a bit laughing afterwards. "I'm Amelia Watson nyan!"

(What a weird name for a girl who has cat ears.. this isn't realistic at all!)

"W-Why do you have cat ears..?" I'm a bit scared because of this "cat", I-It's just cosplay right?

"You do know that I can read your thoughts? And no it's not cosplay!" She laughs after, theres no way she's actually a cat girl..

I remember something, the cat that I was looking after.. where did it go?!

I look to see where the cat went, I look all over the couch and my kitchen. "What are you looking for nyan?" She looked confused.

"There was a cat on my lap, Maybe it ran away..?" She went over to me and tapped my shoulder as I look behind and see her giggling.

"That's me nyan!" Hearing her words made me froze, I quickly come back to my senses.

"How do you turn into this human-like cat..?" Her smile gave me a bit of a comfortable mood.
"Well, it's a long story, My last master abandoned me and they experimented me.. all i remember there were multiple people trying to experiment me, research on me."

Her words make me confused and sort of angry, who would do something like that!?

"It's okay, you're totally fine with me." I smile as she does the same back, I go on my phone to call Ina to explain what happened earlier.

(I'm still shocked how she turned into a cat girl...)

But i'm sure to make her safe no matter what from these researchers. I look at the clock realising that it's 9 PM and still have work to do. I tell her that i'm going to work in the morning and tell her to sleep on the couch.

I close my eyes and fall asleep.

I suddenly wake up to a sudden movement and wake up to Amelia on top of me.

"Good-morning nyan!" I look at the clock as I was right on time which is unusual since I wake up after 2 hours my alarm goes on.

"G-Good-morning Amelia..." I still feel a bit sleepy. I get up and get ready for work.

"Alright, I'm going to work now. See you later!" I said a bit happier that i have company now. She waves me off as i go to work.

I exit and head my way to work and see Ina just on the other side since we live almost next to eachother. "Well you're early Y/N-san." She said in a sort of cold tone.

"Sure did!" I smiled to her as she tried to do the same.

(Seems like she's not a morning person.)

A few minutes later we arrive at work and go to our desks to start working. I don't feel like going home late again since there might be troubles with my "cat" messing around at my place.

"Oh? Someones early." It sounded like a girl talking to me. I look up to see the new transfery co-worker they talked about turned to be... Calliope Mori?!

She used to bully me in highschool... Didn't expect her to work here?

(Though it's odd for her to work here.. who'd choose this job? Well obviously me.)

"I'm not that type of person to be late anymore Calli." Looks like i lied a bit. She scoffs

"Alright, i'll get on to work." I hear her keyboard already making the typing sounds.

I decide to work on it too. A few hours later I hear my co-workers chatting.

"They said there's a cute blonde girl visiting here, what could she be doing here?" It's the guy who i get pissed off alot.
"Hmmm.. I haven't seen her yet." Said my other co-worker.

As i widen my eyes, I see Amelia coming up to me to whisper.

"Hi~ nyan!"
