Scaled Flighter Males/Steves: tall and skinny, usually stand at 7-8 feet, with darker or lighter medium or large sized scales in random patches, thick scales covering lower belly and parts of legs, dragon like tails that end with either a large spike like a spear or end in a whip thin edge, ears and horns vary from color groups, clawed feet, retractable claws on hands, back spikes, and fangs. fangs are capable of expelling a deadly venom built up over 6 months, the lower jaw is capable of dislocating itselfs to open wide enough to spray venom up to 10 feet. Hips have a joint in the middle that can dislocate, only used during egg laying to avoid injury (inspired by the kiwi)
Feathered Flighter Males/Steves: same as Scaled Flighters but instead of Dragon wings and tail they have bird like wings and instead of scales on their tails they have feathers, they have a ridge of feathers running down their spine and tail, they also have no hand claws but instead they have much larger and stronger feet claws
Scaled/Feathered Flighter Females/Alexs: same as male's but with small body scales and thick scales running down the entire belly and part of legs, usually taller by 4-5 inches, tend to be brutes and are usually stronger than males, they lack the middle hip joint as they dont need it
Reproduction and ageing: Males and Females can both Carry and Sire hatchlings, but Females can only Sire there own children via asexuall reproduction and only produce Male offspring. Once a Flighter becomes pregnant they will began to release a pheromone which tells other Flighters their carrying and will make flockmates protective of the pregnant Flighter, usually pregnant Flighters will band together and split off from their flocks to form temporary nursery flocks, during the first 5 months the Flighter chick will grow slowly, as to not affect the carrier negatively, during the last month the chick will grow rapidly taking the carriers ability to fly away temporarily, during this time the carrier would have found a safe place to lay the egg, during the entire process the only time the carrier would feel the chick move is two days before the shell forms around the chick, the shell takes 5 days to form before being laid. The carrier only carries the egg for 6 months before laying the egg in which the egg is fully sustainable and doesn't need heat or any special conditions unless cracked too early. After laying the egg it only takes a month for the chick to hatch in which the chick is equivalent to a 5 year old. The process of this ageing is still unknown, but it seems to be the same process used for wing repairs and healing from otherwise fatal injuries via the Rainbow Tree. The new chick learns fast and 2 months after hatching they can walk, run, and talk just like a 5 year old can. By the time they turn 1 year old they can fly, but only in short amounts. The chick grows fast and is considered an adult at 10 years old but they don't stop growing until 15 years old. Flighters lifespan is longer than of any other species, at 400-800 years depending on color group and lifestyle
