dear someone,
a good two months passed and you slightly slipped from my memory. out of sight, out of mind. until my manager approached me and asked if i could visit a neighboring store to help out and learn testing. i obliged and made my way there the following morning, only to be in full shock when i walk in and there you are. so we meet again. you instantly recognized me and shouted a friendly "hey! how are you?". i beamed with joy, smiling ear to ear. 'twas my luck i'd get to be seeing you twice this week.
giving me a mini guide around the place, i found my way to a computer to begin working. but i couldn't help but notice the subtle continuous glances we were giving each other across the room, tension rising so thick it could be cut with a knife.
a fellow worker and i got to talking about you, all while we kept sneaking eye contact. i made a joke about you, using your name, to which you overheard and responded. a smirk made its way to your face and i could sense this was the start to something. perhaps a friendship of some sort...for now...?
another time with you that flew too fast. while grabbing my things, i told you to let me know when more occasions arise where help was needed, and though you warned me the schedule is out of your hands, you'll keep me posted anyway. but before i could stray too far away, you uttered "it was nice seeing you again" with a soft smile, i gave a smile back before turning around and leaving, a cheesy smile forming on my face. till next time.
sincerely, me
