The Second Generation [Percy Jackson AU]

The Jackson family household was very chaotic this particular morning, because the story needs to start off in chaos!

"CAST!" Annabeth shouted, while Percy was cooking some blue waffles. "GET DOWN HERE!"

"MOM I'M BUSY!" Cast shouted down, pulling his hoodie over his head. He fluffed up his hair, smirking.

Ethan burst into Cast's room.

"Stop loving yourself and find a dam girlfriend. It's time for school." Ethan said, rolling his eyes.

Sammy stuck her phone in the room and took a quick picture, snickering.

"SAMMY YOU BI-"

"CAST LUKE JACKSON!" Annabeth scowled. "LANGUAGE!"

"Oooooohhhhhh!" Sammy smiled, jumping down the stairs, joining Charlie in breakfast.

There was a knock on the door, and Charlie answered it.

"Hey Esperanza! ETHAN YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS HERE!"

Esperanza's face went red. "Wait- no-"

She was cut off by Ethan, who was grinning lopsided.

"VALDEZ!"

"JACKSON!"

Ethan tackled her in a hug, Esperanza pinching him.

"What was that for?!" Ethan jumped back.

"You were going to break me!"

"You deserve it, Valdez." Cast said, ruffling her hair as he walked outside.

Esperanza rolled her eyes. "The bus is almost here y'all." She added.

She turned to Cast.

"The Di-Solaces are moving back into town." She told him.

"All the way from Texas?!" Annabeth came to the door.

"OH MY GODS NICOS COMING BACK?! HE IS SUCH A SMALL FRY! Get it, Annie?" Percy snickered.

Annabeth facepalmed and all the Jackson's plus the one Valdez left for the bus stop, meeting up with the other Valdez's and the Grace's.

Nico and Will never moved to Texas.

For some strange reason, everyone thought they did...

Will's mother, Naomi, had come down with some illness. Nico originally HAD told everyone they were going down there to help her, but Will's dad went there first and helped her.

Nico never told anyone the trip was canceled.

and he never told Will about it.

"Okay, first day of school guys!" Will said eagerly.

"Yay!" Naomi and Bianca smiled.

"WAIT WHAT?" Nico cut in.

"Ew." Carter muttered.

"DADDY WHAT?" Nico asked again. All three of the kids looked at Nico, and Will looked away, hiding a laugh.

"Oh- uhm- go to school kids!" Nico cleared his throat. "Sorry I thought I had to go back to that hellhole... just you guys though!"

"Nico maybe you should go back to bed." Will nodded slightly.

Nico slumped back upstairs, knowing it was pointless to argue with Will.

"Why did Dad call you Daddy-" Bianca started but Naomi, being the eldest at 18, cut her off.

"First day of school, come on Bee." She took Bianca's hand, nodding for Carter to follow them out.

"Bye Papa!" Bianca shouted, waving with her free hand.

Naomi led her siblings to the bus stop.

"Nay!" Cast said. Bianca smiled lopsidedly and stepped away from Naomi, as she was tackled in a hug from her best friend, crush, and ex boyfriend.

"Cast!" Naomi smiled, hugging him back and burying her face in his shoulder.

"How was Texas?" He asked.

Carter choked and Bianca looked confused.

"Tex-" Bianca started, but Naomi said, "It was great!"

Carter nodded in agreement, giving Bianca the death glare.

"Come on yall, they didn't actually go. How dense are you?" Riley Grace rolled her eyes.

"Like youre oh-so-smart." Carter told her.

"That burnt like fire!" Milo shouted, laughing.

Everyone rolled their eyes.

"Wheres Sammy and Emmi?" Jaxon asked.

"Here you blind bat." Sammy shook her head.

"Sorry, Sammy Zhang and Emmi."

"Lemme guess. Petco!" Lacy said.

"No, dummy. School already. Bet a dollar!" Milo said.

"Done." Lacy rolled her eyes. "It's a dollar, like I give a crap."

The bus rolled up and the kids all got on.
