"Shoto!" He screamed. The mysterious green portal that changed his location to one unknown slowly slipping away. He couldn't move. He couldn't even stand, to try to go back to it. He could only watch as pro hero shoto was stabbed and was left for dead through the last small looking glass into his own world. What little life left in shotos eyes left him as he faded away and the green smoke like portal disappeared.
He reached out to where he and the portal once were "Shoto! No Please!" The people that surround the scene too frightened to approach the young hero. Uniform ripped to shreds and blood spilling all around the street in which he was dropped off at. Cold, hard, rain poured and washed away the blood in streams. The hand that was reached out to grab what was left of his home slammed in to the ground unintentionally using his quirk in the process, creating cracks around the boy. The boy sobbed, continuing to slam his fists in to the ground till he couldn't feel them anymore. Suddenly all of his energy left him, the adrenaline of it all left him on his own. Loosing conscious quickly he silently cried as he fell from his knees on the hard, black top, road. Laying there barely alive or conscious only seeing small splotches dart towards him. He couldn't tell if he was imagining it or he was actually seeing people approach, soon loosing consciousness from lack of energy and blood loss.Waking up, breath out of control and a harsh soreness taking over his limbs. The bright white lights of the hospital blinding Izuku causing him to tightly shut his eyes again. Confused and careful, slowly reopening his eyes to keep them from going into shock because of the brightness of the room he is in. The beeping of the heart monitor and the sharpness of his still unsteady breath is the only thing his ears could pick up. Instant panic taking his brain as he tried to move but instantly regretting the gesture because of a sharp burning feeling coming from most of his limbs. He breathed in sharply from pain and groaned as loud as he could muster without it being painful. He still couldn't quite focus on the setting around him as his mind was still slightly foggy and his hearing momentarily blocked. Tears swelled in his eyes from over stimulation on his senses. Panic arose again but he didnt try to move this time, though his breathing was getting faster and faster as time passed and he could only slightly see the movement of blobs around the room because of the tears that engulfed his eyes. He was Hyperventilating as his arms and legs started getting a tingling sensation. He leaned back further into the mattress in which he is laying in, trying to slow his breathing but failing to do so. Having half of his senses blocked from hyperventilation and medicine that the hospital pumped him with made him panic more. Mouth dry as the Sahara desert as continued to gulp the air. Someone slowly grabbed his hand. Not knowing who was doing the action didnt help much although the familiar warmth that filled his hand and the physical touch of another human was comforting enough for him to start calming down.
After a solid 15 minutes of midoriya calming his breathing and squeezing the unknown figures hand only a little bit he calmed down enough to breathe at a normal ish pace. As his breath slowed his vision cleared little by little enough to observe what's around him. Though before it completely cleared one of the large dark masses in the room left and the warmth around his fingers were gone.In the bright room he stayed in there was three people left from what he could see. They seemed to be a nurse and what looked like two detectives. They were all talking to each other about something but it was incoherent to him. He tried to focus and strain his hearing to pay attention and process the words that flowed from the nurse and detectives lips.
"-llo?" He hears and he can feel someone tug at his right sleeve. "Hey, can you hear me?" Finally making sense of the nonsense spewing from the detectives mouth. He slowly nods at the question. Relieve passes both detectives face as they've finally gotten him to calm down enough to ask a few questions. "Great. I'm detective Tsukauchi and I would like to ask you a few questions about the recent events in which you were involved in." Midoriya looks at the man with a puzzled expression displayed on his face. But before he could question the detective on what he was talking about he remembered the lifeless eyes of hero in training, Shoto before he disappeared before his eyes. His expression muted to a blank one after the memories came faintly fading back to him. "Oh... okay. I'll try to help the best I can." Midoriya states mellowly with shallow eyes.
"Alright, what is your full name?" The detective starts. "My name is Izuku Midoriya." Confusion flushed the detectives face before it disappeared like it never wasnt there in the first place. "Next is, can you describe the events of the scene?" The second detective asks. "And make it as specific as you can." He finished. Reminences of green slime like substance flashed as tears swelled in his eyes at the memory. The detectives taking note of what's happening and decides to skip to the next question which grabs midoriyas attention breaking his focus from the memories that he was rewatching in his mind. "Has this ever happened to you in the past?" The boy on the bed shook his head at the question. The detective continued with the questions for a while but eventually said "I think that'll be all, or at least until you'e body has healed itself a little more. " I nodded as they headed towards to door and the nurse finally being able to give me a meal with my new daily meds that I'll need for my injuries. After I finished eating though, I was left to my thoughts in the white room with the TV hanging in the corner on playing background noise. The food isn't that great, but I really can't complain with the situation I'm in at the moment. Midoriya thought to himself. Shaking the thought from his head, he observed the bright room that surrounds him. The window to his right had white translucent curtains that blocked only a little light from leaking into the room. There was another curtain to the left of him but it was much thicker and a mud colour that was located closer to the door. Three waiting chairs were placed beneath the window from what he could see. And one or two near his bed to the right of him he couldn't tell. A small table was next to one of the waiting chairs next to his hospital bed. The TV in the right corner of the room only leave a small buzz of sound in the bright room as his brain is focused on his surroundings. After locating all exits and obstacles in his room his brain was too tired to process any more information from the boy. Midoriya rests his eyes finally after his food digested a little and he scanned the situation he's in. Maybe I'llbe able to sleep more than a couple hours for once.
