Rachel's POV
Don't get me wrong, I was happy and excited for 'Brittana' but the surprise engagement reminded me of when Finn proposed. When he finally asked me. Since his death, I didn't date anyone or even felt an interest to a boy... until Sam though.
Sam's POV
I went up to Rachel after glee club was finished and everyone else left. "Hey, you okay? You looked a bit down when the surprise happened." "Yeah, I'm fine" she said, her voice nearly breaking. I looked at her and saw her sadness. " Actually,no I'm not." She said back bursting into tears. " I miss him Sam, I miss the way he couldn't dance and the way he sang and his leadership. I miss him and I feel like I'm betraying him, going out with someone else" I sat on a chair, her next to me balling her eyes out. I hugged her and started crying as well knowing she started talking about Finn. " I miss him too you know. I miss him too much to let his soul mate not find love again." I said back to her, still hugging her. " I may not be that next true love of yours, but I can be that start." I said to her looking into her eyes. My eyes were now flooding. " I miss him too, so does everyone else, don't forget that Rachel. And never forget Finn. No matter what. Promise?"
