I woke up to my telephone on my side table ringing,I groaned and picked it up assuming it was a wrong number "hello?" I asked in a sleepy voice, "oh shit did we wake you princess?" I heard Tommy's voice say,I blushed at his voice and the nickname, "aww Tommy's talking to his girlfriend" I heard Dutch say and the boys laugh,I rolled my eyes at my friend groups childishness, "anyways your gonna watch us do karate" tommy told me as if it was a fact, "sounds good,pick me up" I said before hanging up and going to get ready
I got freshened up and left my hair naturally straight as usual and and I decided to wear some black pants and a black see through shirt over a white tank top

I walked outside and immediately spotted the boys on their motorcycles, "do you not own a car or something?" I asked Tommy as I got on the back,we had been friends for a few days and I always went on the back of Tommy's , "oh come on princess you love it" he said as he handed me the spare helmet,I put it on and we sped off.
We arrived and tommy helped me off "Jesus tommy your never a gentleman like that to anyone else" Dutch said,we all laughed in response and walked in,I hadn't seen there dojo before and I looked around in amazement,the boys all said goodbye and walked in the changing room,I took a seat and watched as they all stepped out with their sensei,he started yelling stuff at them and it seemed more like the military than a karate dojo,at one point they all got in a circle and tommy had to fight someone,he sent me a wink as he bowed making me blush,he won obviously,then they all lined up again and I turned around and saw Daniel there, "oh hi Daniel!" I said to him,he smiled at me "hey Hailey" he replied wrapping me in a hug,I could see Tommy watching and his jaw clench,we sat down and watched and when Johnny was revealed Daniels smile dropped,he walked out angrily,tommy smirked and so did the rest of the boys,I rolled my eyes at their stupid rivalry
Finally class was over and the boys walked out with me,tommy and Dutch had their arms sling around my shoulders as we walked,we spotted Daniel in his moms restaurant and the boys all share looks and nodded,tommy dragged me with him and we hopped on his bike,as we drove the went to an unfamiliar dirt road and I noticed Daniel riding his bike,i knew they where gonna do something "tommy don't do it" I practically screamed,he gave me an apologetic look as all the boys drove too close to Daniel making him fall down the hill,I hit Tommy's back "let me off now" I said,all the boys turned to me "hailey-" I cut Tommy off "LET ME OFF THE BIKE" I said angrily,he stopped slowly and I marched off down the hill,my heart stopped when I saw Daniel laying at the bottom of the hill with blood on his head,i ran down and put his head on my lap,gently brushing his hair back to see the injuries,he winced in pain as I helped him walk home,his mom came over and I took that as my que to leave.
I walked inside my apartment to see my mom passed out drunk on the floor,I quietly crept to my room not wanting her to wake and hit me again,I changed into a hoodie and shorts and let sleep take over my eyes that had tears pouring out of them
