Violet pov
I slowly bend down placing flowers on my mother's grave, i fixed the flowers to stay still, i dusted out the little dust on the side of her grave, i stood there, looking down at the grave
i waited for James and mattia to come, they said they will be here in a bit so i waited
i took a seat on the grass by her grave, i talked to her, hoping she was able to hear me and i told her how much i miss her, i looked back up as i saw James and dad making their way towards me, i got up as they both looked down at the grave
"how did you keep up" Mattia asked as i looked at him shrugging my shoulders, why will he care
"ok" i quickly answered
i didn't want to be anywhere near him, i know he's my father and i should love him but he isn't who I think he is
"shall we go?" Mattia asked as i narrowed my eyes at him, why so soon
"now?" i asked confused as he nodded his head, James placed another pair of flowers down on moms grave before following behind Mattia
i sigh turning back to the grave, i opened my purse taking out the same picture frame with all of us in it
i slowly placed it down on top of her grave
i smiled to myself one more time, i then followed them, we went towards the car, i got on the back as they were on the front, i lay back on the seat as the car drove off
i didn't get any sleep yesterday so i wanted to take a nap and that's what i did, i fell fast asleep
Mattia pov
i shook his hand as he walked in the house, i quickly gave him a smile as i took him to my office, he took a seat
"you called Polibio" he said fixing his tux as i nodded taking a seat right in front of him
"how did it go with mason" i asked closing my fingers together on the table, he looked down at them before looking back up at me
"it went as planned" he smirk taking out his papers of information "he's hiding in the warehouse, he's safe" he passed me the papers as i smiled
"that's great news" i said as my smiled turned to a smirk "as long as he's in there hiding and he won't get caught then we're fine" i said
"im still getting pay right" he asked as i nodded taking out an envelope fill with cash
"no one can know about this, alright" i said passing him the envelope, he took it opening it up and putting it away
"yes sir" he smiled getting up and shaking my hand again
"we'll meet next time Aiden" i smiled opening the door for us, violet stood there crossing her arms up to her chest, i widen my eyes giving her a smile before walking pass her
"what were you talking about" she asked as i ignored her
"thanks for coming again" i told aiden as he nodded walking out the door, i turned around only to be face to violet again, she frowned her eyes towards me
"so you did help mason with moms death" violet spat out shaking her head
"no no, thats not how it went, be-" i was cut off by her
"admit it, you also killed her, i heard you, your helping mason hide from the polices and moms guards, i can't believe you, how can you kill your kids birth mother" violet said almost on the range on crying
"violet i-"
"no, stop trying to lie when it isn't working anymore, i believed you and it was a mistake, do you even care about us" violet asked as i threw my head back
"ofc i do violet, that's not how everything went tho" i said walking up to her as she took many steps back, she was scare
"im not living here, not with you" she walked away
"violet" i yelled but she wasn't listening, she kept walking instead "Violet Polibio" i yelled again, she stopped on her tracks this time, her back facing me as she slowly turned around
"it's Violet Martinez" she said and with that she walked back away, i threw my head back again, i threw the papers in my hand on the floor walking out of the house
this isn't how i wanted to get along with my kids,
this isn't how i planned my things
"lock the whole house" i said to the guards that stood outside the house guarding the front door "don't let Violet nor James leave this house, do you hear me" i said as they quickly nodded heading inside
i waited outside looking up at the house as the whole house went to lock down, i waited for a couple more minutes and that's when i heard violet start yelling at the guards
they'll just have to deal with her for a little until she calms down
i got in my car driving away
i drove to the warehouse where mason was staying, I got there about an hour later and when I was there i went straight inside
"where is he" i asked one of the guards that were there taking care of him, they pointed upstairs
i walked up the stairs and into the room mason was staying in
"so you came to visit me" mason said setting up on the bed facing me immediately, i gave him a fake smile
"shut up" i rolled my eyes, i still don't like this mf, "she knows" I said taking a seat on the chair by the tv
"your daughter?" Mason asked as i nodded taking out my gun and playing with it in my hands, i looked back up at mason who looked down "im sorry" mason started as i narrowed my eyes
"for what?" I laughed throwing my gun up at the air and catching it "for ruining the family i always wanted?"
