I walk into class just in time before my teacher closes the door. "You were almost late, Allen." Mr.

Jackson says directly. "I'm sorry, I got caught up with another teacher on my way here." I say

turning my self towards my teacher. He looks at me for a couple seconds then tells the class to

pull out their notebooks and textbooks. I quickly sit by my friend group in the back right corner

of the class room, next to the window facing the outdoor seating areas. It looked sunny today

and I was actually kinda excited for lunch at noon. My friend Oliver taps my shoulder and

whispers my name, "oi, Oak." he says in a soft voice, I turn my head to look at him. His big

freckled face was almost touching my nose. "Get you're sweaty face away from me." I say

shoving his forehead away from me with my pointer finger. "sorry, I was trying to get your

attention, but you were zoned out" Oliver explains. I pull out my notebook by leaning over my

seat to reach for my backpack, " So what do you want from me, sweaty freckle?" I ask. Oliver

leans back in his seat with his arms laying on the sides of his chair. " I was going to ask you if

have any ideas for April fools day." Oliver said looking up at the ceiling. I give him a straight face

when I finally sat up from getting my notebook. "Can we talk about that later after class, like

around lunch?" I ask placing my face to the palms of my hand. Then my good friend Gabe popes

up from behind me, "Aw come on Oak,  you always have the best ideas for our April Fools." Gabe

says trying to encourage me. I turn my body to look at him, we stare at each other for 3 seconds

until Mr. Jackson tells us to look up at the board. I look at Oliver and Gabe and mouth to them,

"Lunch."

(A/N): This chapter a little longer than the first but I do have plans for the next chapter. I don't really have a schedule for uploading new chapters, but when I post them, I wouldn't expect them to be very long. Ill put out nice short chapters (not to short).
