Finally lunch time and the guys and I sat outside. It was oddly warm today, normally it would be
in the mid 60's, but today was 75 degrees. The trees where blowing in the wind and the sun was
hitting our faces, just the perfect day to have lunch. As I'm looking at the trees, a girl with short
curly hair. She was wearing a oversized hoodie and had a skirt peeping out from the bottom of
her hoodie. She walked fast, but also kept her head down while she walked. I didn't see her
shoes until she came from behind the bushes. She had brown shoes that were horribly tied,
along with black socks that met her knees. I thought her style was kinda cute, I mean if you look
at all the other girls that go to my school, they all dress the same. She kept walking to find a seat
for lunch, she looked all over to find a seat, I wanted to call her over to offer her a seat but I
didn't want to come off like I have a crush on her, which I don't. "OAK!!" Oliver cries out, I turn
my head with a neutral face to hear what he has to say to me. Oliver takes a deep breath and
closes his eyes then finally tells me what he wants to say, "Oak, we all have come up with some
ideas, and we need you to bring something to the table. Can you do that? Oliver said annoyed.
"Uh yeah, um how about we pull a prank on someone?" I suggested. My friend Kaleb chuckles a
little across the table from me. "What so funny big head?" I say to Kaleb, he looks up at me and
smiles, "We have pranked almost everyone in our class, I think its funny how you still haven't
changed one bit since middle school." Kaleb says while still chuckling. I roll my eyes and pull out
my phone. I completely muted everything around me while I was looking at stuff on my feed.
I was scrolling and scrolling until I ended up by some of the girls I met earlier posts. One of them
went to Florida and spent half of the time on a boat. I was bored so I commented under the post
saying "nice boat." I received an immediate message from the girl liking and replying to my
comment saying "Wanna come next time <3?", I turned off my phone and put in back in my
pocket. Oliver and the guys were still talking about what they were gonna do this year for April
Fools, I just sat there trying to understand what the hell was going on. "OKAY!! WE GOT
SOMETHING!!" Oliver yelled. "Calm down Oliver." Gabe said looking around the other tables and
back to us. "Okay, so we can all agree that Oak is the sexiest guy here..", everyone nods their
head except me. ".. So, Oak... we want you to go ask a girl to go and try to get her to
become your girlfriend, then by April tell her it was a prank." Oliver's face looked so excited, it
kinda pissed me off how happy he was. We all sat in silence waiting for me to say something. "I
think its crap..." I say bluntly. All the guys faces went blank, except Oliver, he looked mad. "Why
the hell would you say that, its a good idea!" he cries while standing up from his seat. I look at
him while goes on a whole rant. Oliver always was like this, he would always be team caption,
and if something didn't go his way he would go off. I sat there looking at his lips as spit kept
forming on the corners. "Dude you're drawing attention to yourself." Kaleb whispers. After
a good minute Oliver calms down and sits back down. " You done?" I said smirking, Oliver
looked at me and mouthed the words "fuck you." I let out a small laugh and leaned back to
stretch. "Okay, ill do it, but what girl?" I asked. Oliver looked over at the girl I saw earlier and
back at me, "Her." I turned my head to see who he was talking about, my eyes wide a bit, but I
wasn't backing down so I agreed with a hand shake. Oliver leaned in closer to the table, "Let's
get started."
