 Katsuki ran a hand down his face as he slumped in his office chair. He honestly felt like crying but he wasn't going to tell anyone that. He wanted to be left alone so he could clear his head.

"I thought I had left this stuff all behind me." He mumbled to himself.

A loud knock rang through the room and Katsuki's head jerked up at the noise. He yelled a short come in and the door opened not long after.

Two people entered the room, one with bright pink skin and one with huge eye bags under his eyes.

"Hello~" Mina sang and Shinsou only waved.

Katsuki sighed and waved back before continuing to work on his paperwork for the most recent case the police practically shoved onto him. He had asked his boss numerous times if he could be removed from the case but he stood his ground with a firm no.

"What's wrong?" Shinsou asked, he walked to Katsuki and stood next to him, Mina followed.

"Nothing, just a bit stressed is all," Katsuki mumbled as he typed on his computer.

"Well take a break then babes," Mina said and ran her fingers through Katsuki's messy hair.

"I just did, took ten minutes and got water plus a sandwich from the break room," Katsuki mumbled so quietly neither Mina nor Shinsou could really hear.

"Well, I think you need another," Shinsou said.

"Can't, boss needs this case solved and filed by the end of this week," Katsuki said as he typed away.

Mina and Shinsou looked at each other, both had faces of concern but they nodded. Mina kissed Katsuki's forehead while Shinsou gave him a small side hug.

"Ok, we'll leave you alone. But please don't stay too late." Mina said worriedly, Katsuki only nodded and was nose deep in his paperwork once more.

The two sadly walked out of Katsuki's office and back to the agency they worked at. Both Mina and Shinsou went to work at Gang Orca's agency while Katsuki decided to stick with Best Jeanist.

By now I think you're wondering what kind of case Katsuki assigned to that he would want to leave it so strongly, right? Well to put it shortly, it's an abuse case.

A 40-year-old man is accused of abusing his wife of 25 years. There is solid evidence of the abuse too, injuries all over the woman's body and the man having a history of abuse before too.

Now onto why Katsuki wants to leave it so badly. Katsuki's mother was less than kind to Katsuki as a child. The constantly calling him weak and blaming every little inconvenience on him left wounds. Not physical wounds, although she would slap him pretty often, but emotional and mental wounds. Katsuki has severe anxiety and PTSD from all the villain attacks and being kidnapped in his first year at UA.

Katsuki took a deep breath as he pulled up the file filled with photos of the woman's injuries and he prepared himself to maybe have an anxiety attack.

The injuries were horrible bruising, bleeding, and even broken bones. Katsuki wanted to throw up and cry all at once. He quickly clicked off the file and went to his desktop home screen.

Katsuki sighed and called his boss from his office phone.

"What do you need?" The voice of Best Jeanist came through.

"I need the rest of the day off, please?" Katsuki didn't care if he felt pathetic or weak, he needed to get home and lay down.

"No, I need you working on that case. Gosh, why do you have to be difficult?" Best Jeanist hung up after that.

Katsuki gripped the phone with one hand and the other held his head. He hated how that sounded just like his mother, the condescending disappointed tone dripped hatred towards him. Was he really that difficult? He tried to be somewhat agreeable and cooperative.

"Whatever," Katsuki growled to himself and pushed through till five when he got off work.

It was 5:01 PM when Best Jeanest finally let Katsuki leave work. All he wanted to do was go home and take a nap or maybe go to bed early altogether.

He sloppily unlocked his front door with his key and pushed the door open. He tried to hang up his jacket on the hooks there but missed. The jacket hit the floor with a small flop and Katsuki set his head against the wall in defeat.

He heard footsteps and both Mina and Shinsou appeared in front of him. Mina gasped and Shinsou quickly gathered the limp Katsuki in his arms.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Shinsou asked urgently, Katsuki only whined and weakly pushed Shinsou away.

Shinsou raised an eyebrow but backed off and let Katsuki do whatever he needed to do. Katsuki slowly walked to the three's shared bedroom.

Mina and Shinsou walked closely behind in case anything happened. Katsuki changed into Pajamas and out of his sticky hero costume. He groaned and flopped onto the bed. He pulled the covers over him and closed his eyes.

"He must be tired." Mina mumbled, "Let's let him sleep for now." Mina said and held Shinsou's hand as they walked to the living room.

Shinsou turned on the news and immediately got a story that included Katsuki.

" Number two Pro Hero Dynamite has been suspected of taking a case of domestic abuse. Don't you think this is a little much for such a young hero like him? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. All we know is that-" Mina turned off the channel, a look of shock glued to her face. Shinsou was equally shocked, they both stood up and walked into the bedroom.

"Oh, baby..." Mina mumbled as she saw Katsuki curled up on the bed his eyes wide open and tears gathering in them.

The two asked no questions but only climbed into bed with him and wrapped him up in their arms. Katsuki hummed and made no move to protest.

"Thank you..." It was the quietest Katsuki has ever spoken and if the room wasn't almost completely silent Mina nor Shinsou would've heard it.

"You're welcome, baby." Shinsou lightly kissed Katsuki's forehead before lightly kissing Mina. All three laid in the bed and slowly nodded off into peaceful sleep.
