Mina giggled as Sero wiped the ice cream off Kaminari's nose. Kirishima was calmly eating his rocky road ice cream in a waffle cone with Katsuki next to him eating chocolate chip cookie dough in a cup. Jirou sighed, his friends were actual dumbasses.

"So, roller skating now?" Mina asked happily.

"Yeah! That's what we agreed on yesterday, no?" Kirishima finished off his ice cream. Katsuki nodded and threw his empty ice cream cup in the trash nearby.

So the group walked from the park, they were heading to the roller skating rink a couple of blocks down the road.

The group was excited, to say the least, it isn't every day that they could relax a bit and unwind. The hero course was constantly putting pressure on them to stay vigilant and alert.

Not today though, today they would be people. Regular students going out for a bit of fun. Katsuki tied the laces to his skates and stood up flawlessly while the rest wobbled and shook as they stood.

Katsuki rolled his eyes and half walked half rolled to the edge of the rink. The group slowly followed him.

"How, Bakugou, how?!?!?" Jirou gestured to him standing on the rink waiting for the rest.

"I'm the best, duh," Katsuki smirked and skated away.

Jirou sighed and watched as Kaminari fell on his ass. Sero tried so hard to stifle a laugh while Kirishima helped his bro up.

"Never knew Bakugou was so good at roller skating," Mina said as she watched Katsuki skate around the rink.

"There's a lot we still don't know about Bakugou. He's slowly opening up though, and we need to wait till he's comfortable enough to share even more." Kirishima said as he stepped onto the rink and skated away after Katsuki.

"Eh, when did Kiri get so weirdly wise?" Sero asked and gingerly helped Kami step onto the rink and slowly skate away.

The two girls looked at each other and shrugged before stepping onto the rink also and skating after the boys.

Katsuki closed his eyes as he skated around the rink. The slight breeze ruffled his hair. He took a deep breath in and let it out. There weren't many people on the rink, as roller skating rinks were pretty much out of style these days. This one had gladly stayed in business long enough for Katsuki and his squad to skate at it.

Kiri had caught up with Katsuki and saw the calm blissed expression on his face. Kiri smiled a bit and skated ahead leaving Katsuki to unwind and calm himself even more.

Kami and Sero followed Kiri's lead when they saw Katsuki, along with Jirou and Mina. Katsuki deserved a break from all the stress and weight everything put on him. Sure he was training to be the next number one hero, but self-care always comes first.

For the rest of the night, the group laughed and skated. They ate cheap pizza and soft pretzels from the concession stands and drank carbonated drinks to have burping competitions, in which Mina did win.

Sero ended up laughing so hard root beer came out of his nose. Katsuki snorted and almost collapsed after that. Overall the group got a much-needed and deserved break.
