each day,
he broke her.
"you're not beautiful yet!"
"you're not worth it, yet!"
"you ruined my picture! you ruined my picture!"
paint can splattered across the unfinished masterpiece
a desolate yell erupting through the small room
flashes of silver and copper as he flung his paint
he'd messed up her nose.one step
two step
three...
four...her head whipped to the side,
her nose throbbing and crooked,
and the outline of his knuckles sketched onto her
br ok en face.he'd smiled,
he'd smiled at the way her nose was now shaped
despite the red paint gushing from her crooked imperfection.
she was beautiful now.
