Jay's hands shook violently. Swallowing hard he clenched his hands before walking up to the ebony- haired boy. The cut that was on his chest was no longer there, in its place was a faded scar surrounded by dry blood. As Jay stared at the boy, Chloe and the ghost child joined them. The ghost girl then went up to the boy and tugged at the heavy silver chains then looked back at Jay and Chloe.
Chloe's POV~
" Why did you lead us to him?" I questioned the girl. She walked up to me and took my hand, she then began to lead me back to the boy. She put my hand onto the boys bloody and slightly bruised hand " Free.." she whispered so that only I could hear her. I was slightly shocked for a second but then I turned to Jay " She wants us to free him" .Jay looked at me with a confused look on his face, " He's probably chained there for a reason, and if we did free him what would we do with him?" I looked down at the ghost girl in defeat. She looked up at me , her eyes still alight with hope. I wonder how long she's waited for something like this to happen. How long has she clung onto her small sliver of hope? I sighed and replied " I'll look after him. I just need help with the cabins and getting him to the car."
Jay's POV~
She'll look after him? " I can't trust you to look after another human being when every goldfish that was in your care died after 3 hours of you owning it". Chloe glared at me as I walked over to the military guy. ' What are you doing?' "Well if this guy is in charge of the guy chained to the wall then he must have a key to the handcuffs" I replied before revealing a silver key. I then walked over to the boy and began to in cuff him starting with his feet. As I moved to the hands the ghost girl came up to me and smiled brightly before skipping off out of the room. Underneath the right-hand cuff there was a necklace and bracelet tied around his wrist and underneath the left was a scar in the shape of three numbers 365.
