You looked at each other silently while holding your sandwiches. Jimin shrugged and continued eating, cutting off his gaze from you.
All the sound that was left was the chattering and cluttering of utensils from the other students that were in the cafeteria. The boy in front of you was humming quietly while chewing his sandwich. While you on the other hand, was still zoned out and holding yours with both your hands.
The realization suddenly sinks in.
"OHHHH!" You suddenly exclaimed, almost screamed, and dropped your sandwich on the table. Jimin jumped at your sudden increase in volume. With your free hands, you covered your mouth in surprise.
"Oh my god! What? What's wrong? Wha-why-what?" He clutched his food close to him and his small eyes suddenly grew in size due to shock.
"So you're? You are?" You removed your hand from your mouth and gestured vaguely while leaning towards him, as if he was going to understand what you are implying.
"Are you trying to ask me if I'm gay?" He was amused, he did not look offended, but he was certainly laughing at you in his head at how you reacted. "Yes, I'm gay and Yoongi- the boy we were talking about- is my boyfriend."
"Th-that..." You trailed off, this was really surprising news. He waited for you to spit it out while giving you a confused look, tilting his head like a puppy. "I'm sorry I just really did not expect that."
He laughed and swiped his hair back from his eyes, why he so hot and kyot at the same time?
"Yeah, most people really can't tell we are together, or even tell our preferences. So I really don't mind your reactions, we know we're really good at hiding it." He smirked and wiggled his brows at you, having a sip of water from his bottle.
You plopped back at your seat in awe, "You guys look so adorable together!" You squealed and he squealed with you while scrambling to hold each other's hands. Yes, you two were fangirling and bouncing in your seats in the middle of the cafeteria because of his relationship with Yoongi.
"I would let you meet him but he's mad at me right now, let's do it next time, yeah?" He stopped bouncing and it was just you two holding hands and tugging each other.
You nodded in agreement and you two continued eating your lunch with a few laughs and stories. Little did you know, there was a jealous boy ready to kill the both of you with his bare hands.
~after school~
The sun was setting and was giving the sky such a beautiful purplish pink hue with some happy little clouds adorning the sky. It was really nice and relaxing to look at.
"Can I walk home with you?"
You whipped your head to the direction of the soft ᵗᶦⁿʸ voice and saw Jimin standing behind you with a small smile on his face. He got his jacket on now, covering his well fitted uniform and had a bag hanging on his shoulder.
