Ciao!
Here's a preview of my newest book, coming out March Break 2015. It shouldn't be too long of a story, but a sequel is possible.
If I say football, I mean american football.
If I spell something oddly, it's Canadian or American, depending on where you live.
Hunter/Dookie
"Heyyyy Hunter!" The sound of my idiotic team mates welcoming me to the horrible stench that is our locker room was not pleasant for me.
I hated most of these guys and their stuck up, sexist, homophobic and racial slurs. I had to pretend to like them none the less, I still had a good reputation.
I greeted the guys back, waving at all of them.
One of my more friendlier team mates put his bag down beside me, mot of the team refused to sit beside him, as he was openly gay.
"Hey Sam, how's your family taking you coming out?" I asked him, trying to make actual talk with the guy.
He smiled at me as he did up his shoes, "They've been taking it well, the entire family except my dad taking it well, but he just keeps me down." He said, shrugging.
"How's the closetedness going?" He whisper-asked me, making sure no one else would hear.
I smiled wide, and gave him a thumbs up. It was silence in our area of the room, hollering was coming from the other boys.
The coach came in, gave us the little "Go get them lions!" Speech, making sure to tell me to give my all for the game.
Nathan/Nate
"Freak!" "Weirdo!" The sound of my classmates mocking me as I walked by was nothing new.
I shuffle over to my locker and struggle with opening it. /Now they can tease me more./
I quietly walk to class, keeping my head low. I pull my book bag closer as I walk past the jocks, they're usually the ones to actually beat me.
I never raise my hand in class, /it would be just another thing that they could tease me for./
Once the class ends, I try to get out of the classroom as fast as I can. I tried to get home as fast as I could as well, trying to avoid more people beating me up.
The ride home was quiet, the only sound was the gravel underneath my longboard's wheels.
I put my board in the garage, and tip-toe inside my house. To me it's not a home.
I make a small sound, then all I can hear is yelling. Insane yelling.
"YOU UTTER DISGRACE!!! YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE BORN!!! YOU WALK AROUND THIS PLACE LIKE YOURE A KING, MAKING AS MUCH NOISE AS YOU WANT!!!" My mom screamed, face turning red.
I rushed upstairs and into my room, the tears were forming in my eyes. At least "Dad" was't home to beat me.
I shut the door very quietly, and took my shirt off, inspecting the brushes forming on my collarbone and ribs.
I quickly put my shirt back on, adjusting my glasses slightly as I do so.
I lay down slightly on my bed, burying my head in my body pillow and let the tears flow this time.
So yeah, I hope you guys liked it. I know it's last minute, but this should be a random update. There will not be a set day for this book.
Okay. Yeah.
