Jensen returning from his office after a long day searches for his house's second keys that he had left for Jared near his garage entrance but on not finding it, enters the house using his main key. Since it is still half past five and long time for the night to set in, Jensen decides to go for a refreshing jog in the nearby park. Today didn't involve any meetings as he spent his day going over all his contract updates and assorting the files. Pulling over a pair of running shorts and light grey hooded sweatshirt, Jensen grabs his keys and i-pod. Planning for an hour-long sprint and then a visit to his friend's bar Carl & Kane for dinner, he puts his running shoes and exits his house after locking it.
Jogging in the park for half an hour continuously leaves him drenched in his sweat and gasping for air with cramps in his leg muscles. Deciding to take a break to stretch his sore muscles and release the strain, Jensen finds an empty bench where he lies down with ears plugged as music plays and relaxes his muscles to the loud beats of his music. Few minutes of relaxation is disturbed by a tugging feeling arising from his legs.
Opening his eyes, Jensen notices a dog tugging his shoelaces which seems to be familiar but cannot remember from where for the life of him. As he tries to ignore the dog, it becomes insistent as it pulls him more forcefully. Sighing that the dog might not leave him in peace in the near future until it is satisfied, he gets out of the bench and allows the dog to lead him in a direction it seems to want him to go. After playing fetch with the dog using a tree branch, Jensen sits back on the bench to recall all the pet owners he might know who owns this dog.
Not able to remember any dog owners he might know in the neighborhood, Jensen pulls the dog onto his lap nuzzling between its ears and petting it. He hears someone shouting the same time the dog jumps out of his lap and starts tugging him in the direction of the shouts. When the shouting noise grows louder as the person nears us, the dog starts to bark and try to run in its direction. Jensen kneels as he tries to keep the dog from escaping while he puts on his shoes which he had discarded while petting the dog on his lap. Failing to achieve both, he lets the leash of the dog as he sits down to tie his laces to avoid tripping. After putting on his shoes and grabbing his items, Jensen looks up to see Jared looking down at him in amusement.

[One hour before....]
(Jared's POV)
All my meetings winded up ending earlier than scheduled leaving me free to spend some time with my dogs. Deciding to take them to the nearby dog park, I leashed Harley and Sadie to prevent them from running in the streets and walked to the park but the entrance was closed with a notice 'the park was closed for walkers due to construction inside the park'. Already seeing them energized for some play time and to not disappoint the dogs, I load them in my car and drive to the next closest park being half hour away from my home. Parking the car I let out the dogs from the car, they run into the crowd and start to play with the kids in the sand pit. Ensuring that none of the kid's parents are opposed to the dogs and requesting the park guard to keep an eye on the dogs, I take a run around the neighborhood streets rather than the crowded park.
