Ena X Reader // Cabins

Chapter 5

(Lol the real slowburn here is how slowly I'm making the chapters, sorry if this isn't all that good! It was kind of rushed-   Trigger warning for V*mit, 3xpl0ding, mentions of w*r zone, mention of being k*lled, w*unds, scr*tches

A few days passed and Ena hadn't visited (Y/N). Although they didn't mind per se, they were confused. As (Y/N) looked out their window to see an unfamiliar sight they sighed "Damn it, they must've bulldozed the land again." they opened the door and checked their frantically replanted plants, luckily they were not harmed. 

(Y/N) walked out into the gravel land and immediately fell down a hole. Letting out a few curses they looked up "Oh fucking damn it" they whispered angerily. Soon they stood and put their hand on the dirt around them as they attempted to climb up "No use..."

But after the anger wore off they looked around the hole for a quick moment "Hm-  WH?!-" next thing they knew they were falling. Last time (Y/N) had checked the hole had a bottom, so they had no idea where they were heading.

Soon (Y/N) fell on their knees, wheezing in pain they sat down properly and looked around at their surroundings. Confusing, but that just made it normal. Spirals were everywhere, things were falling from the sky, it seemed like a randomiser was picking every individual item. (Y/N) wearily walked through this war zone, nearly avoiding a stove that had dropped in front of them. 

After they had walked a bit away they noticed that fog was surrounding them, (Y/N) groaned as they thought it was about to rain water with all of the things falling along with it, but they were wrong..

Something stepped out of the fog, (Y/N) froze for a moment before taking a step back "Friend or foe?!" they called out, taking another step back.

The person paused for a moment, before something like a party popper could be heard "Friend! A friend, a friend, yes!!" the person enthusiastically jumped in front of them. It popped out very well, millions of things taped onto them, they had an oversized party hat hanging off of their head with almost clown like clothes. They looked like they wanted to stand out in a crowd, which they definitely succeeded at.

(Y/N) paused and examined this thing "Uhm... You look... Tacky?" they hesitantly said as they glanced around, not wanting to be apart of this conversation.

The tacky person huffed "Well thats not a very kind way to talk to your BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WOOOOOOORLLDDD!!!" the person bounced around as they happily flailed their arms around, looking as if they were cheering for someone.

(Y/N) shook their head "I don't know what you're talking about..? I don't even know your name..." they bluntly said as they slowly took a step to the side, hoping to escape. However the person just grabbed (Y/N)'s arm and pulled them back with a smile.

"A name? A name you need? Hmmm... My name is..." it looked around slowly into the fog, then piped up "My name is Foggy Wasteland With No Escape To It! Call me Foggy will ya?! What's your name?!" Foggy happily held out their hand.

With a sigh (Y/N) took Foggy's hand "My name is (Y/N), you said theres no escape to this place...?" They asked for clearance, obviously frustrated that there may be no way out but not necessarily surprised.

"Well I've tried for years!! I know this place up down left right and under!" They proudly put their hand on their chest, laughing a quite deep laugh, one different than their voice entirely.

(Y/N) sighed loudly "Well, I guess I'm staying here then.." they sat down and layed on the ground, a few seconds passed and they could hear someone plop beside them.

Silence.

"Do you have friends?" Foggy suddenly asked, looking over to them rather quickly, almost at a scary speed. They stared at (Y/N) with wide eyes, ones that would scare most others, and it scared (Y/N) too, but they would never show that.

(Y/N) paused for a moment then shrugged, trying to hold back their fear "I guess I have one" they replied slowly, looking around, wondering if by some miracle a door would open and (Y/N) could escape this place.

Foggy excitedly piped up with a wide smile "Is it me?! Cuz I have one friend and its you too!!" 

"No, someone else" (Y/N) replied slowly, looking at the ground slowly, wondering if that sentence was the reason they were going to be killed. Foggy huffed a bit and crossed their arms, staying silent.

"Wait..."

They suddenly reached into (Y/N)'s pocket, snatching a small tulip out of it. With a gasp they stared at it intently with a wide smile, seeming almost infatuated with it.

"Hey!!! Give that back!!!" (Y/N) tried to grab it, but Foggy stood up before they could. Or at least (Y/N) thought they had stood up. Foggy began to levitate almost, throwing up some kind of white liquid before completely exploding. (Whats up with this book and people exploding?-)

(Y/N) didn't have any time to react, they just let out a half scream before everything went white, then black, then nothing.

(Y/N) woke up on the ground, their face had a giant wound and they were pretty scratched up. They gasped for air desperately, shaking violently "W-What.. I..? Was that a...." 

"Oh dear!! You don't look so good" a familiar voice popped up behind them, Ena. She quickly head over to (Y/N) and kneeled beside them, staring at them worriedly.

(Y/N) furrowed their eyebrow "Well thanks-" they were cut off by something hitting them in the back of their head.

"Moony!!" Ena exclaimed, it was hard to tell whether she was upset or excited as she got up "May I ask for a small favour?"

Moony sighed "Matters what the favour is, I am not talking to that dog for you again-"

"No no not that, may you please look after (Y/N) for a moment? I must go get some medical supplies to help our dear friend" she chirped happily. (Y/N) just rubbed their forehead, developing a small headache.

"Sure, whatever" Moony seemed to almost shrug as she planted herself down beside (Y/N), Ena smiled and began to walk away from them in a random direction, probably going to beg someone for them.

There was an awkward silence between (Y/N) and Moony for a long time, the entire time perhaps. If Moony had asked (Y/N) anything they wouldn't have heard it as they were too focused on the ground beneath them, not really caring for their babysitter.

Ena soon came back "Salutations my friends!!" she announced, dropping beside (Y/N) and bandaging up their face with a smile, Ena didn't seem to know how to assist people medically.

"Uhhh hey?" (Y/N) responded unsurely, glancing at Moony who was staring directly at the sun, looking quite worried.

"Ena? Was there like, oh what's it called... a solar eclipse planned for today, you know... One that makes the sun come closer?"
