"is that the last box?" nini asked her boyfriend as her set down a brown box onto her dorm floor.
"i believe so" ricky said as he threw himself on the small couch that was near the door.
"i can't believe it!" she said sitting next to him.
"what can't you believe exactly?" he asked her with a small chuckle.
"we're in new york! like eastern time!" she giggled happily.
"you're adorable nini" he patted her head.
"1. don't pet me, i'm not a dog and 2. IVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS SIDE OF THE COUNTRY!" he laughed at her ridiculousness.
"ok panini" he put his head on her shoulder.
"let's go to a starbucks! how cool would that be?! a starbucks in new york!" she said getting excited again.
"you're so excited about this, i love it." he smiled at her.
"i love you" she kissed his cheek.
"would you look at that, i love you too" he laughed. she shook her head and hugged him.
"i already love this" she sighed.
he looked down to her, "me too"

the rest of their day was spent drinking iced tea from starbucks and exploring new york city.
