My Escape from Hell 👿

CHAPTER 1

"Miss Skye your late again, this is the 3rd Term and 16th time you've been late." Mrs Q scolded me. "I'm sorry I'm late miss my ride overslept again." I told her. "Don't blame Ty she's a college student, now get in your seat." Said Mrs Q pointing at my seat.

Many hours later...
"Little sis? Skye! Skye! Dad's going to be home in 5 minutes." My older sister Morgan says while shaking me half to death. I was asleep, I woke up and slapped her saying. "I know he's going to be home soon, I'm not stupid but it's not going to stress me out your the oldest and I bet I can still kick your arse." I say laughing. "Hey sis remember when I broke your arm when we collided on the trampoline." I say with a smile. Morgan smiled and says "yes I remember it like it was yesterday." (Car door slams) "Skye go hide." Morgan tells me "no" I say with a shaky voice "If he hits you then he can hit me too, I'm tired of him coming home and taking his foul mood out on us." I tell my sister holding her hand tight.

The next day.
Cannon Lee is fun My Teachers are amazing, My head teacher is a lil crazy but awesome hahaha "sorry I don't know what that was" summer break starts in 2 mins yes! It may seem like I hate it but I really don't it's like an escape from the shit at the house, but tomorrow I get to hang out with Morgan and Kira. She's kind of my protege since the beginning of the school year I took her under my wing, because she was getting bullied by some of the year 11s. We kind of resemble a lot of things in each other's lives but, when it stops she has a really big green thumb and she loves to plant things.
I'm walking down the Snicket damn I can't breathe I feel sick when all of a sudden I hear a voice "Skye? Skye?" I scream at the top of my lungs "GET OUT OF MY HEAD! who are you?" "my name is Harlin" The voice says "I haven't heard you in a long long time." I say with fear and confusion. "Skye you've grown up you're really really pretty, are you in a uniform?? She asks
"you're going back to school to school!"I slide my back down the wall "this can't be happening again, I haven't heard Harlin since I was five why is she back? I thought I locked her away in my head. If she's out its bad news". I thought to myself.

Harlin was the voice inside my head and my alta ego I used when I was younger when things at home were so bad I couldn't cope alone, she was the one who kept me sane and safe through the hell I was constantly going through with my step dad, for years I've had her locked away because I didn't need her anymore.

An Hour Later
"This is a whole lot better than that Uniform you had on lil one I'm in love with this outfit and it looks good on you". I heard Harlin say in my head. "Hey it's the beginning of Summer you turn 15 next year you need to start getting out of your comfort zone. Listen to me I know how to dress you, I am you and you need to accept that. I am you and you are me." Harlin said to me. "Please Harlin get outta my head" I say with my hands over my head.

"Everything okay up there?" Morgan shouted. "Yes Morgan everything's fine up here, why don't you mind your own buisness." I snapped "Don't you get snappy with me Skye." Morgan snapped back at me.
"You two shut up or I will slap the both of you" mom shouted. "Mom you're not supposed to be up out of bed" Morgan said. "Yeah I kind of agree with Morgan on this one. Your not supposed to be out of bed." I said. "Shut it Skye I'm used to this from your sister and father but not you skye you're 14, And Morgan your 24 and married you guys need to start acting like adults." Mom snapped at us both.

8:30 on Saturday morning.

"Hey hey wake up I know you hear me, you can't sit here ignoring me." I heard. "Shut up Harlin" I snapped at the voice in my head. "hey do you remember earlier tonight when we were watching the news?" Harlin said. "shut up I'm not going to go steal money from the bank" I said annoyed. "I wasn't talking about stealing money from the bank but, that seems fun too I want to go visit a old friend." Harlin said to me with a smug voice.
