"A sleepover!"

Your eyes widen as the rest of the girls seem to agree with Nemu. "Uh... at your place..?" You were hanging out with your friend group in an empty classroom, which consisted of you, Nemu Aohitsugi and two of your friends named Yuki and Ayase.

You were all in the same class, which is why you and Nemu had started hanging out with the two others in the first place. Especially seeing as Nemu is a kind-hearted soul who always looks out for her friends, it came to no surprise that she was among the most popular girls at your school. Even you had no idea why someone as cool as her still put up with you, but every time you mentioned it Nemu would always get offended.

"You're the person I've been friends with the longest! If you ever say something like that again, I'll... uh, bake you a cake to show you how much you mean to me!" Is what she usually said, which always made you laugh. However, you couldn't help but feel a little guilty whenever she told you how much you meant to her.

Of course, she means a lot to you too! But being friends with her since primary school did have its perks when it came to Nemu Aohitsugi's famous older brother. Despite knowing her for almost ten years, you had never even met Samatoki until a couple of months ago when he happened to be home at a reasonable time. Nemu always claimed her brother came home in the middle of the night, and after you got to know him you quickly realized why.

The first time you met you had stayed over at the Aohitsugi household a lot later than usual and seeing as Samatoki was some sort of master at crime around Yokohama, he refused to let you go home alone. Obviously not wanting his beloved younger sister to accompany you at this hour either, he had decided to walk you home himself.

Despite his tough looks, Samatoki had been surprisingly sweet and just by the short time you spent walking home together, you had learned so much about him.

Like how he gets overly flustered if you tease him.

And how he makes sure to get you twice as flustered in return.

It was on that particular walk Samatoki had pushed you up against a wall after you commented that his hair looked cute, and maybe it was the peaceful night with the clear sky, or both your flustered faces that caused it, but Samatoki couldn't stop himself from kissing you. You yourself blamed it on being caught up in the moment, but as you grabbed onto his shirt for support, neither of you seemed to have any plans in backing away.

After that night, you and Samatoki had on multiple occasions met up with each other, but as you were terrified it would ruin your friendship with Nemu, you had both decided on keeping whatever relationship you had to yourselves.

"Won't that mean Sa- y-your brother will be there at some point..?"

Yuki and Ayase stare at each other for a second before letting out overly excited squeals. "Will he?! Oh, please tell me he will, Nemu! We'd love to meet him-"

"Hey, if you're just going to fangirl over my brother the entire time, I'm not having a sleepover!" Yuki and Ayase quickly back down and apologise to Nemu's somewhat aggressive tone. You can't help but smile, knowing that Nemu is practically incapable of being aggressive towards her friends and that she was just joking to scare them a little.

As she catches your smile, Nemu herself can't help but start laughing, causing your other two friends to realize she wasn't being serious. "He'll probably come, yeah, but only at like two at night. If you want to wait for him, fine by me. But he's always in a shitty mood when he comes back that late."
