My Dad's Client

10: 3 months later

It's been 3 months since me and Tom started dating and today we're going to have dinner with Emma and Sarah, Tom's sisters. I go have a shower and find a dress. I decided on jeans and a cami. I put on white heels and loosely curl my hair. I do light make up and go get Cara dressed. I put her in a blue dress and leave her hair down. 

I go down and Tom is standing there, ready. "You ready?" asked Tom. "I am" I said. We head to the restaurant. We're the first ones here. We sit down and I hand Cara a toy. "Tom, Avery" said Emma. I notice a man behind Sarah with a baby boy. "Joshua?" I said. Oh fuck me. "Avery" said Joshua. Tom looks at him. "His your ex?" asked Tom. I nod. They sit down and I look at Josh. "T-that is our daughter" said Joshua. "Yeah" I said. "Daddy!" said Cara, pointing at Tom. Tom stands and picks her up and sits back down. I look at Tom. "That's the first time she called you that" I said. "I don't mind" said Tom. "He is not her dad!" said Josh. "No. You lost the right. Tom has loved her and been there for her. You left when I told you, so excuse me if Tom wants to be the dad you never will be to her" I said. Joshua glares at Tom and I roll my eyes. "Guys, we're gonna go." said Tom. "No, he'll behave" said Sarah. I nod and we order dinner. I sigh and Tom hugs Cara to him. "Daddy! I'm hungry" said Cara. "I know, sweetie. We have to order first" said Tom. Cara nods and I smile. We order and once the food comes out, we dig in. Cara smiles. She loves Tom, and Tom loves her. "How old are you?" asked Josh. 

"36" said Tom. "You do know Avery is 27" said Josh. "I do" said Tom. "Shut up. It's fine. His 36, so bloody what" I said. I roll my eyes and once we finish, we pay and leave. "His a dick" said Tom. "I know he is" I said. We drive home and let Cara play. I sigh and rub my face. "We will eventually tell him but he has to understand love is love and age is just a number" said Tom. "I love my dad but I think his a bit of a dick." I said. Tom nods and kisses me. I kiss back. "How about a holiday?" asked Tom. "What do you mean?" I ask. "I mean, we can go on holiday's to DisneyLand and just have fun" said Tom. "I'd like that" I said. He kisses me. 

We have dinner and let Cara watch one movie before bedtime. We go to bed at 11, which I can't wait to go to sleep!
