Chapter 5- Meeting Mrs. Bell

Vanessa's P.O.V

Me and Luke held hands. I loved the feeling of it. Just the feeling of comfort made me feel loved. He squeezed my hands again and again. I looked over to Tarra.

She must have saw me looking at her because she immediately looked back at me. Luke started squeezing my hand again, causing Tarra to notice. I pulled my hand away from Luke as he tensed up.

Everyone went silent. I broke the silence by remembering me and my moms conversation.

"Oh, are you guys busy after school?" I ask.

Everyone replied with a no.

"Sweet, you've all got to come to my house." I say.

"And what if we don't want to?" Calum asks in a smart ass tone.

"We have food and a pool." I say trying to bribe him.

Cal was about to answer when he was interrupted by Michael.

"I'M IN! I LIKE FOOD!!" Michael said. We all burst into laughter at his outburst.

Calum continues with what he wanted to say.

"Are you trying to bribe me m'mam?" Cal says in an even smarter tone.

"Maybe I am, what are you going to do about it?" I ask.

"THIS!" Calum shouts while he jumps up and ran towards me and Luke.

Luke tensed up again.

We got up and he started chasing me around and around as if we were playing a game of 'Duck-Duck-Goose' He finally caught up to me and tackled me to the ground next to Luke. I could feel Luke's eyes on me as Cal starts tickling me. I laugh uncontrollably and suddenly I feel Cals lips hit my neck. He started to suck on it and as i pushed him away.

"Oh my God, Nessa. I'm so sorry." Cal said with a broken look on his face.

"Calum, it's fine." I say rubbing circles on Luke's hand.

I feel Luke shiver a bit when I came in contact with his hand. He grabs a hold of my hand and goes back to squeezing it.

"So, guys. do you mind walking... because I don't have any other transportation." I tell them.

"Uh, Nessa. I have a car for a reason." Ashton says.

"Yeah, but we're not all going to fit. Are we?" I say, already knowing I was correct.

"Oh. That's true." He looks at the ground blushing a bit.

"Only two will have to walk." Calum says.

"I'll walk!" I say, I like walking.

"Ooooooh, Can I walk with you?" Luke asks. Yaaaaaaaaay! I was hoping we could walk together. "Sure thing!" I say smiling.

Luke's P.O.V

Calum nudged me and gave me that Make a move! Now's your chance! kind of look.

"Can I walk with you?" I ask Vanessa.

"Sure thing!" She says, smiling her perfect smile.

I grabbed her hand again and pulled it onto my knee. He held it there for a while until we got caught.

Tarra, Calum, Ashton, and Micheal's eyes hit us. They all just stare at us and I feel the zoo re-enter my stomach. I tense up a bit and stare at the guys.

They all start laughing, whistling, and shouting. I think Vanessa was just as confused as I was.

The bell rings to signal the end of lunch, we all say our goodbyes. Vanessa told me to meet her at the school gate so we could walk to her place together.
