Esther's POV:

I was packing my luggage when I heard a knock on the door. I stopped what I am doing and went to open the door.

"Good morning Ms. Helen" I greeted and welcomed her into my room. She looked around the room and said "very good morning my child.... They already left?" and scoffed. She is totally opposite to the other Nuns at this orphanage.

The room was empty as the other roommates already left the orphanage. I am still here because I was having difficulty finding an apartment but thanks to god that Mary Helen helped me with that.

"Yes, Ms. Helen...Thank you for your help...Now I can peacefully prepare for my interview" I said and she gently smiled my way.

"Make sure to get this job or else it will be difficult for you to pay rent every month" what she said is right and my mind went for an overthinking ride, what if I didn't get this job?

She spent her two months' salary to pay the rent of my apartment and told me to save the money that I got from the orphanage. I promised her I will return the money once I get paid in my job. Yeah, whenever I got a one, my mind echoed.

"I will try my best" saying I stood in front of her and hit my chest with my right palm. She laughed at my absurd action. After that, she helped me with my packing.

I wore blue jeans and a T-shirt. I braided my hair in a ponytail and put on some makeup. I took my bag pack from my bed and left the room.

I went down with my luggage and saw all the staff waiting for me. They all have sadness on their faces which is obviously fake. Because I never spoke to them much and they don't know me well either. This was just a tradition when someone is leaving this orphanage.

I bid them farewell and Ms. Helen walked me to the main gate. She held my hand "Be careful with the world outside... This world is not as good as we thought you..... Especially be careful with men. They are not so good as they portrait themselves... If you have any problem don't forget to contact me.... " she said and that gave me a chill through my Spain.

I was already scared to face the new life ahead of me and now she's scaring me even more. "You're scaring me" Saying this I faked a laugh.

"Don't be scared at any moment. If you are afraid of someone or something it will become their strength and they will play with you. Even if you scared don't ever show it on your face. " she said and I nodded.

I looked at the orphanage for the last time that I'm never going to enter again. I hugged Ms. Helen for the last time and bid her farewell.

I took a bus and went to the address Ms. Helen gave me. The owner showed me my apartment and left. This apartment is cleaned and semi-furnished. I kept my luggage on the couch and went to see my bedroom.

My bed is beside the wall as I like and on the left of the room, there is a window to see the morning sun and moon at night. Coming out of my room I went to see the kitchen and that was also nice.

This apartment is best for a single person. I took out my phone and texted Ms. Helen that I reached.

After that, I went straight to a department store to get daily necessaries and then to the grocery store. I set everything that I needed in my apartment.

I spent my remaining day preparing for my tomorrow's interview.

went to my room, to get some sleep but as a habit, I started writing in my diary that how my day went. I was thinking what Ms. Helen told me this morning *Don't get scared, even if you are scared don't show it on your face* .
