*Julian's POV (day 3 of Tay's coma)*
I was snapped out of my daydream by a doctor making his way towards me to update me on Tay, I suppose.
"Mr. Edelman," He stars, shaking my hand as I stand up.
"How is Tom?" He asked. We basically were on a first name basis at this point with every nurse and doctor on the ICU Unit floor, which wasn't really something to brag about.
I sighed, running a hand through my hair,
"He's, I don't really know. He's basically blocked everyone out. He just sits, cries, sleeps a little, eats, then repeats. It's a pretty vicious cycle."
"I know you and Tom are worried sick over these young ladies, but you need to take care of yourselves." He said, repositioning his small- framed glasses on his nose.
I nodded in agreement.
I really needed a shower and my body hadn't seen actual sunshine in days.
"So just round him up and go home for the night, alright? We'll call if something changes." He promises.
"Thank you, sir." I shook his hand again.
"It's my job, son. Don't thank me. Thank their guardian angels." He smiled, then made his way down the hallway.
"Alright, 12. Let's get you home." I took him by the forearm.
"No. I'm not leaving."
"Tom, damnit. Yes we are. There's horses that smell better than us and we need out of here before we go insane. So I'm not letting you sit here and rot away. You got me?" I told him.
Tom was usually the one who was the leader and took charge since he was quarterback, but I played QB long enough to know how to lead.
He got up, his body cracking and popping from where he had been sitting for so long.
I got him in the car somehow, and we started out.
"Hey look," He said, holding one of Tay's hairbows in between his thumb and pointer finger that he found in the cubby that was in the door.
"Yeah, her sweatshirt's in here somewhere." I replied.
There was a few minutes of comfortable silence before Tom spoke up again.
"You really love her, don't you Edelman?" He said quietly.
I nodded in reply, trying to not cry again.
"Yeah," was all I could get out before I broke down sobbing as I parked in the driveway. I put my head on the steering wheel, letting my tears fall down onto my jeans.
"God, if Tay was here she'd be making fun of me." I laughed.
"Everything's gonna be fine, 11. Just fine." Tom reassured me.
He then got out and made his way up the driveway as I tried to get myself together.
I hope everything's gonna be okay.
I really do.
I made my way upstairs and jumped in the shower. I let the water wash away everything. I couldn't tell at this point if it was tears or the water because I had been in there so long.
After getting dressed, I make my way to my room and lay on Tay's side of the bed. It smelled like the perfume that she always wears. I thought of her as I let some very needed sleep take over my body.

"Hello?" I answered tiredly.
"Mr. Edelman. It's Dr. Mann from the hospital," he started. I shot up at these words, my heart racing.
"Uh, yes sir. Is everything okay?" I asked.
"Well, we've discovered that the medicine we've been giving Ms. Brady has caused her to start bleeding internally." He states.
"So what are you guys doing to stop it?" I asked as I jumped up to get dressed.
"Well, we've stopped pumping that through her, and now we're considering doing surgery to stop the bleeding. That's why I called you. Do we have your permission to do surgery on her? We recommend you allow us to do so because it will save her life." He states.
"Yes. When are you going to do it on her?" I ask running downstairs to Tom's room.
"In about twenty minutes."
"Okay. We'll be there soon. Thank you sir." I reply, then hang up.
"Get up, Brady!" I beat on his door.
"What do you want, Julian? It's four A.M." He questions as he opens the door. His hair is all over his head and he's squinting.
"So apparently Tay's started bleeding from this medicine they have her on and I gave them permission to do surgery on her. Now let's go to the hospital because they're getting ready to start it." I explain putting my jacket on.
"Well, don't you think you should've asked her brother?" He says, throwing on a sweatshirt.
"Tom don't start this with me right now. Let's go." I say grabbing my keys and heading towards the door.
