Chapter Three "The Encounter"

It had been about 4 months now. My class, and I were now Exwires. I had met a lot of new friends; Izumo Kamiki, aka: pokebrow, hehe.. pokebrow.. -ahem- anyways, as I was saying, I also met, Shima Renzou, Suguro Ryuji, and Shiemi Moriyama, who are all now really good friends with me, along with the two twins Rin, and Yukio Okumura.

I was in my last class of the day; choir, I chose it as one of my classes because I love to sing. As we were finishing the last part of the song, Mr. Faust, or should I say, Mr. Pheles, walked in.

"Excuse me, I need to speak with Ms.(Y/L) for just a moment please."

The teacher shooed me away as she continued singing with the class. She looked quite pestered to say the least. Eh, she was really annoying anyways, I was glad to have left, it was almost time for class to end anyways; but, what was I in trouble for? I followed behind the clown dressed all in white, crossing my arms. I kept note of all of the classes I passed by. 'Chemistry, Math, English, Home Ec' and so on.

Getting lost in reading the class signs, we had arrived to Mephisto's office. His office was painted with red, the same colour red as his limousine seats, and walls; surrounding me were chairs in front of his desk.

"What did you need?" I grunted, crossing my arms in anger. This better be good.

"I need you to do me a favor."

"A favor?! I'm not your errand girl Mephisto!"

A smirk escaped his lips.

"I won't let you fail your choir class if that's why you're so worked up."

Okay, he got me, that was exactly why I was angry. He must have noticed I had loosened up a bit as he had continued the conversation.

"I need you to get me a bag of lolipops from the store, and when I say bag, I mean an ENORMOUS bag."

I felt my are-you-kidding-me expression set in.

"It's for my little brother not me."

"Awe, you have a little brother? How adorable!"

He growled at my compliment, making me shudder.

"Just get them, please."

"Okay, okay, calm down Mr.Sourpuss, I'm gonna get them for you."

~Time Skip~

I headed down the road to the candy shop, it was really quiet. It was sending chills up and down my spine.

The candy shop had a giant pink and blue sign, labeled 'Candy Shoppe', the windows were see through, as I saw all of the marvelous candies awaiting me inside. The outside of the shop was filled with a different array of assorted flowers and decorations.

I headed inside, directly toward the big piles of lolipops near the back of the shoppe. There were enormous bags for each flavour! He never said which flavour.. I tried to find assorted flavours, as it was no where to be found. 'Blueberry, Cherry, Strawberry, Watermelon, Grape' I could not find assorted for the life of me!

"Ugh! What the hell!"

Many of the customers just stared at me. I ignored them, still looking through the assorted bags of lolipops. 'Ah, there it is, finally!' It was at the bottom of the stash, of course. I walked over to the cashier, two bags in hand, it was a little kid, let the little thing go crazy. Why not?

I set them down one by one, smiling as I had prevailed in finding the lolipops. I could sense the cashier thought I was crazy, but who wouldn't think so if someone was smiling their ass off over a bag of lolipops, maybe a kid, but certainly not a teenager doing so. I handed her the money, and left, heading to Mephisto's office.

I exited the door, only to be met by a pair of aqua eyes. He stared at my bag of lolipops intently.

"Uhm.."

"Are you going to eat those?" He had a childish voice, in monotone, it was soothing to my ears though. His hair was pointed up in a spike, unique, definitely unique, but I liked it.

"T-these are for someone else, I-I'm sorry." Did I seriously just stutter?

"Aw, that's too bad."

I felt really bad, but I couldn't give one to him, they were for Mephisto's little brother.

"I have to go now."

I walked right past him, trying to avoid eye contact but my (E/C) orbs disobeyed me, and came in contact with his aqua ones. I quickly turned my head in front of me, heading for Mephisto's office once again.

~Time Skip~

I was in front of Mephisto's desk offering the bags of lolipops to him.

"I have your candy."

"It's not my candy, it's Amaimon's.

Amaimon! Get in here right now!"

"Don't yell at him, he's just a little kid."

He lifted his eyebrow at me.

"Yes, Anuie?" I heard that voice before, it was all too familiar, but where? Where had I heard that voice from?

"Oh you're the girl from the candy shoppe. I'm glad that candy is for me. You're very nice to get me two bags."

"WHAT!? YOU'RE HIS BROTHER?!"

"Technically, yes." The monotone in his voice was soothing to my ears.

"Yes well, I have to buy him candy in order for him to behave, and I couldn't today, I had too much paperwork on my hands."

"Why would he not be able to behave? He looks to be around my age." I lifted my eyebrow in response.

"Uh.. eh.. reasons, my dear." I could practically taste the sarcasm in his voice.

"Seriously?" I gave him the are-you-kidding-me expression for the second time today.

Ugh wow, I had a crush on the principles brother. Are you kidding me?
