The Chachus (MahiRohiRat)

Just wanted to say before you go on reading this, this one will be very close to my heart!!

Virat was waiting impatiently at the hotel lobby of Hyatt regency in Ahmedabad, pacing up and down. It was almost midnight. Everyone was in their own rooms, sleeping.

But Virat was waiting for Anushka's arrival at the hotel, with their daughter Vamika. He wanted to pick her up from the airport but Anushka didn't allow that saying that she didn't want unnecessary attention, if spotted together.

So here he was pacing impatiently waiting for his wife and daughter.

Atlast the car pulled in front of the hotel entrance, and Virat ran to help Anushka out of the car. He told the hotel staff to take the luggage and led Anushka to the room, with Vamika in his arms.

They both entered the room and Virat laid down his sleeping daughter on the bed, while Anushka went to freshen up.

Virat sat beside his bundle of joy, staring at her. She is life's most precious to him. His daughter, his world.

He couldn't wait for her to meet his brothers for the first time. He wanted to see their reactions. He wanted to the love and affection for his Vami in the eyes of his brothers. He may sound selfish, but he really wanted to see that.

As he was thinking about all this, Anushka came out of the washroom, and saw Virat in deep thoughts while staring at Vami. She softly placed her hand on his shoulder and asked, "What are you thinking?"

"Their expressions", said Virat unconsciously.

"Huh?! Whose expressions?! What are you talking about?!", asked a confused Anushka.

Virat came out of his trance and said, "Oh! I was imagining the expressions of the boys when they meet Vami. Can't wait for that", excitedly looking towards Anushka.

Anushka laughed and said, "Me too!" She, being the beloved bhabhi of the team, couldn't wait for her ladla devars to meet their niece.

She could imagine the love all of them are gonna shower on their Vami, or as they call her Viratee. Though she didn't like that name much, but she couldn't change their minds.

So, excited for tomorrow, they both slept off with their darling daughter in between them.

The next morning, Virat and Anushka quickly freshened up and went down to the breakfast hall. Virat told Anushka to wait outside for a while, until he prepared an atmosphere for the surprise. "Thoda mahaul bna lu phir aana", were his exact words. 

Anushka could only shake her head at him, for he had disappeared before her reply. Who was the baby here again?!, thought Anushka.

Virat went inside and saw almost the entire team already present. On top of it, Rohit was also present.

How did that happen?, thought Virat completely bamboozled. He noticed Ro talking to Jinks all excitedly. Virat was sure he heard, "She is going to love me the most" and Jinks just shook his head looking like he is out of retorts.

He suddenly realized Virat presence, who instantly put up a slightly gloomy face and went towards the table. "Hey Vi! Great you are here! I am famished due to his insane talks", said Jinks, pointing at Rohit.

Rohit ignored Jinks and said, "Come Vi! Sit here", patting the chair he had saved for Virat

Virat nodded and sat beside Ro, acting all sad. The team was confused to see Virat like that, early in the morning, while Virat tried his best to control his laugh looking at their faces.
