Author POV: Y/N comes from a dark past, while Taehyung lived in the luxury of his dad's company, later taken over by him. Taehyung has a soft spot for Y/N and all other employees were jealous of her. But Y/N never trusted anyone. Her past made her insensitive to people. Her friend betrayed her twice. And that itself made her a cold person. Will Taehyung be able to win her trust???

Monday, 12:45pm 

Author POV: Y/N packed her bags to leave early from work. She was not at all fine since morning. She had kept a much more cold face today, which nobody really paid attention to. She forgot about today's meeting and was about to leave her office. That's when she bumped onto Taehyung.

Y/N: Oh-I'm sorry sir.

Taehyung: No no it's ok, um...by the way where are you going this early?

Y/N: Sorry sir, I forgot to mention, I need to leave early today.

Taehyung: Is there something wrong?

Y/N: No nothing's wrong. It's a personal matter.

Taehyung: You know you can tell me everything right? So tell me what is wrong.

Y/N: I said nothing's wrong. Now please let me leave.

Author POV: Another employee came running to Taehyung.

Taehyung: What is the matter Soonji?

Soonji: Sir we have that business meeting in 5 mins. I hope everything is ready. The boss of that company is not in a good mood. I guess he'll not be happy if we don't present this well.

Taehyung: OH SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT THAT MEETING! Y/N, u ready with the files for that presentation??

Y/N: Yes sir. So I should stay back till the meeting ends?

Taehyung: Yeah Y/N, there is no other choice. 

During the Meeting

Author POV: Y/N was in charge of all the files, while Taehyung was busy presenting their reports to the guests. Y/N handed off the papers that were in her files to the guests as well as Taehyung. She just sat in her seat which was next to Taehyung's. Little did she know that she had given the wrong paper to Taehyung. 

Taehyung POV: I was about to read the notice handed over by Y/N. When I looked on the paper, I saw a handwritten note. And it was nothing about the presentation. Luckily I had memorised the notice and I presented that as well, without getting into much trouble and protecting our company's reputation. But I kept that paper given by Y/N in my pocket. It's bad to read that, but I really wanted to know what was going on in her life. 

Y/N POV: As soon as the meeting ended I left the office. I couldn't be there another second. My mom and brother will be in trouble if I don't reach my home on time.

Taehyung POV: As soon as Y/N left, I opened the folded paper from my pocket. The first thing I read was:

                                          'Letter of Apology'
