Harry held on to the car door with his tiny little fingers, sobbing, and utterly scared. His mother tugged on his feet trying so hard not to make a scene but from the looks from other parents that she was getting, made it obvious she was having loads of trouble trying to pry her five year old son from the car door handle. She repeatedly let out
"PLEASE Harry ,its not that scary! Why are you so afraid? its only first grade for crying out loud! let go of the handle! the kids will love you!"
Harry knew that last one was a lost cause. Even back in Cheshire he didn't have any friends. No one seemed to accept him the way he is. Harry was a very smart and kind kid, but often got in trouble for his inappropriate remarks and comments to other children and teachers. He didn't know what on earth he was actually saying but whatever he would over hear , would slip out of his own mouth the next day. As for the kids they didn't know what he was really saying either which made them hesitate to let him join there group. They were kind of scared of him and called him a "freak" every time they saw him. He didn't let it bother him although he felt sad that he was never invited to birthday parties or sleepovers, he was an independent kid.
Finally Harry's tired and sweaty fingers gave out and Anne carried him, along with his bag, up the marble stairs and into the big brick building with many windows known as "Doncaster Academy".
Harry never wanted to move to Doncaster in the first place. It was hard enough to make friends back in his hometown now he had to try and make new ones. His mother put it as "a new start, in a new place" ,but Harry didn't want another start he knew it would be the same. Also looked down on him because he always the youngest in his grade, and that didn't really matter to Harry but people will turn anything into another reason to make fun of Harry.
Once inside the school office and Anne got his papers, she walked Harry to his class and stopped outside the door. She knelt down to Harry's level and hugged him tight. She felt him shaking. She pulled back and looked into his big bright emerald eyes filled with beauty and fear. 'My son is so precious ' she thought. The way he just stared back at her waiting for her to say something made her heart crack a little. She doesn't want Harry to be bullied again but they HAD to move. Stupid business purposes. She rubbed his soft, light brown hair, and kissed his pale smooth cheek. He looked so scared yet so brave. Anne reached back into Harry's bag and pulled out Boo. Harry's teddy bear. His face immediately brightened and he grabbed it and hugged it. The bear was brown and fuzzy, and always made Harry feel better. She grinned at his reaction and hugged him one more time.
"my brave Harold," she whispered in his ear ," make mum proud. I love you." she was on the verge of tears but held back.
"I love you too mummy."
And with that, she took him into the class, blew him a kiss and left.

Harry's day went pretty good so far. He hadn't made any friends yet but his teacher, Mrs. Heather , seemed nice.
Harry kept Boo in his bag, not wanting anything to happen to it or have it being stolen. It was time for recess and Harry found himself sitting at one of the tables, dosing off into space when, suddenly, a very beefy boy, ten times the size of Harry , walked up to him followed by two other boys he recognized from his class, with a mischievous grin. Harry gave him his best smile and waved shyly. The boy just smirked and said ," hey Harry wanna play with us?"
Harry nodded eagerly. He was so excited that somebody asked him to play. This was all new to Harry.
the boy was satisfied with Harry's answer and beckoned him to follow him and the two other boys onto the small basketball court. Harry made sure to grab his bag and trotted after them.
