~~Three Years Later~~
I let out a long sigh as I walk towards the hotel I'd be staying at for the night. A tiny party for myself at a small cafe in town. I managed to survive for three years by moving around and getting temporary jobs at small stores or cafes in each town I had gone to. I've made money and I still have quite a bit.
"Happy birthday to me, I guess," I mutter to myself. Yeah. Today's my birthday. August 18th and I'm 17 now. I had hoped that I would have found her by now. My friend, I mean. But no, I still haven't found her. You'd think that after three years of searching I'd find some sort of clue as to her whereabouts but I've gotten nothing.
I decide against going to the hotel and walk into the woods, making sure I have everything in my bag. Laptop, check. Phone, check. Ipod, check. Money, yep. Daggers? I make sure they're in their sheaths on my hips and walk into the woods, making sure no one sees me as I pull my hood up. Maybe I can kill someone if there's anyone in the woods. I doubt it, but there are stupid people out there.
I walk deeper in, then hear a voice. A grown man from the sounds of it and decide that he'll be my next kill. I whip out a dagger and silently walk over towards the voice. I peek through the bushes and notice that it's a man in his early 30's with short blonde hair and blue eyes. I might have seen him somewhere in town today. I smirk and walk out from the bushed silent and walk up behind him.
I swiftly knock his feet out from under him and step to the side at he falls. I stand above him as he looks up at me with fear.
"The sky will be the last thing you ever see..." I mutter to him before driving my dagger into his throat and then his chest a few times. I sigh and sit down to clean my dagger when I hear a rustling noise behind me. I look over my shoulder and see 3 people come out, and I gasp in shock. Slenderman, Masky and smiley were watching me.
"S-Smiley..?" I ask, not sure if I'm seeing things.
"Sky? Is that you!?" Smiley asks and I get up and hug her, smiling.
"Yeah, it's me. Ever since I went insane and started killing people I changed my name to Sky Surgeon, or...Just Sky..." I giggle a bit.
"Wow! So it's....?"
"Sky!" I smile.
"Alright," Smiley says. She turned to Slenderman. "She needs a place to stay.. Can she stay with us?"
"N-no that's alright, really! I don't want to be a burden!" I exclaim, putting my hands up in defeat. Slenderman looks at me with his faceless expression.
"Child, you will be no burden. Smiley has spoken much about you before you became what you are," he says. I sigh.
"I... Guess it would be okay then.." I say. Smiley cheers and grabs my arm and runs towards a mansion I never noticed before. "Woah..."
She pulls me through the doors and drags me into the living room where I see BEN playing video games. Why does that not surprise me?
"EVERYONE TO THE LIVING ROOM QUICK! WE'RE HAVING A MEETING!!" Smiley yells as she pushes me in front of the television. I sigh and step out of the way before BEN attacks me from getting in the way. Smiley sits down next to Eyeless Jack, which she told me they were dating and made me promise to keep it a secret. Masky, Hoody, Laughing Jack, Sally and everyone piles in and sits down before staring at me. I shift uncomfortably before Slenderman speaks up.
"Everyone, this is our newest family member Sky Surgeon." I wave a little at them and Slenderman continues. "Please make her feel welcomed." I look at them all.
"Uhm.... Any questions you wanna get out of the way?" Masky jumps up and runs to me.
"Do you like cheesecake?" he asks.
"I've never had it before but I might try it someday," I say, smiling a little. BEN is next.
"Do you like video games?"
"I knew that was coming. Yes, I like video games but I've never had a game console at all so i play computer games mostly. I have played games like Infamous, Uncharted 3, Red Dead Redemption, FNAF, FNAF2, Slender, Minecraft, and The Evil Within" I smile and he cheers a little. Eyeless Jack walks up to me and before he asks his question I put my hand up to stop him. "And no, Jack, you can't have my kidneys, sorry." He slouches his shoulders and walks away in sadness. Sally walks up and looks up at me.
"Will you play with me sometime?" she asks in the cutest voice. I smile sweetly at her and kneel down to her level.
"Sally, of course! I would love to play with you sometime," I reply and she giggles. She hugs me and runs off, probably to her room. I glance at Jeff, one of my favorite Creepypastas and notice he's slightly glaring at me. I shrug it off.
"Child, you may call me Slendy or Slender if you wish," Slenderman says and I giggle.
"Thanks Slendy! Oh and everyone," everyone looks at me. "If you guys feel the need to talk about anything at all, just ask me. Smiley knows I'm a great listener so... If you need to talk to someone about anything let me know!" I smile. Smiley hugs me and I see Smile and Grinny. I walk over to them and pet them, then giggle. "You guys are so cute!"
I heard Jeff grumble something and watch him walk outside, probably going to kill something, but not before Smiley hugs me and says, "Happy birthday Sky, by the way!" I smile.
"Thanks Smiley!" I hug back and yawn.
"It's been a long day for you, I suppose," Slendy says and I nod. "I'll show you to your room then if you'd like." I smile.
"That would be nice, thanks," I reply and follow Slendy upstairs. He shows me to my room which has its own bathroom and closet. It even has a t.v, most likely because of BEN. I smile. "Thanks Slendy!" He nods and walks away.
I put my bag down and walk over to the window to open it. I take a deep breath of fresh air and hear a knock at my door. I walk over and open it to see Smiley and she walks in and takes off her mask after I shut the door. I take off my hood in return.
"Three years I've been looking for you, can you believe it?" I ask her. She nods and frowns.
"Yeah I know. I should've told you that we wouldn't be able to talk because I was leaving shouldn't I?" I nod and smile.
"Well I found you didn't I? That's what really matters right now!" She laughs.
"Yeah I guess," she says, then looks at me and gets serious. "Something's bothering you... I can tell..." I sigh and sit down.
"You're right... There is something bothering me. You remember Kanaki, right?" She nods. "Well because of him it's hard for me to trust people because I've learned my lesson the hard way. I... I'm not sure if I'll be able to trust anyone here easily. For all I know, they could be planning to kill me soon and I-" she cuts me off.
"Don't say that. Even if they did, you know I would tell you so you could run before they had the chance. But they aren't like that. Okay, maybe Jeff will because you're new, but everyone else wouldn't. Sally has already taken a liking to you!" I smile and giggle.
"Yeah she is really cute. You know I love children!"
"Yes you do. Well I've got to go," Smiley says while putting on her mask. "Jack and I have a date." I smile.
"Oh I forgot to ask you a question. Has he forced or offered you to have a kidney yet?"
"No," she says and I make a disgusted face.
"Good because I know I wouldn't eat them!" She laughs and waves goodbye and walks out the door and shutting it behind her. I fall back on my bed and as soon as my head hits the pillow, I'm out cold.
