"Y/n, we're here... Pick a place you want to go to, I'm paying..." Eren abruptly stated, waiting for your answer, as he tapped on the steering wheel that rested beneath his large hands.
"The cinema..." You bluntly said, eyes still averted from Eren's gaze. You glanced out of the window, eyes feeling heavy as you gazed at the scenery in front of you. There was nothing much to see, except the buildings that looked as if the life had seeped out of the body it was enclosed to. As if their soul had been taken, leaving their body behind with no special orb, you call your own.
You truly did feel as if your body wasn't yours, at the moment, maybe Amilia was right? Maybe you truly were a slut, but you realised you weren't. You hadn't spent all that time, erasing the memories of him, bettering yourself. You felt as if you were battling your intrusive thoughts, that branched out of the tainted parts of your mind. The thoughts that poisoned your mind, were getting to you. It was as if her toxic aura had seeped into your mind, painting it a deep blue colour. A colour your mind had tried desperately to erase. How does your mind go from light green to a deep bluish-grey in seconds?
How?
"Please look at me, I'll never treat you how he did, Y/n..." Eren let out, feeling his blood boil as he thought about what could have potentially happened to you. He gripped the steering wheel, anger seeping out of his body, causing him to grit his teeth harder than he already was. He hated the fact that someone, like him, hurt you, he wished you didn't have to endure something like this.
It hurt Eren to see his beloved suffer. Though he hadn't told you, in this form, he loved you a lot. He knew it was too soon, to speak of such words, but he desperately wanted to. He wanted to inform you about how much love, for you, that swelled his heart, but he knew he couldn't speak of it now. He had always yearned to say 'I love you' but the closest he had ever gotten was his birthday. He added 'for this' because he panicked at how rapid he had allowed the nimble words to flow from his unrestricted lips. He wasn't sure about how quick you wanted to hear an I love you, but he knew he had to gift it to you when you were happy, not sad.
