Nobody Compares To You

Chapter 8!

Emily's POV

We soon picked up my baby cousin and headed towards the store for food. Niall sat in the back with Sarah to keep her happy, as soon as she saw him she didn't want to be out of his sight, it was really cute. When we were in the shops i grabbed a trolley and Niall put Sarah in the seat that comes with it. I went to push but Sarah started screaming. I laughed and looked at Niall, "I think she wants you to push the trolley around."

"Haha, sure." he took a hold of the trolley and started making funny faces, which stopped Sarah from screaming, thank God! But got her laughing which was good. I took out my list that I made and showed Niall.

"Ok I'll go to the cold section and you can find the rest of the stuff that's on here. But try not to get to much junk food that's not on here?" I told Niall.

"Ok. What are you doing with 6 packets of orange Tic-Tacs?"

I started laughing, "Oh I kind of have a weakness for them and I've run out and really need some more. So if you see them make sure you get the big boxes!" I exclaimed while walking towards the stuff I needed. I gave Niall a quick wave and turned away from him. Before I got any food I quickly grabbed a basket so my arms and hands wouldn't freeze from holding the foods. I went over to get a carton of milk I had only just grabbed it when I felt arms go around my waist, gasping, I quickly jumped and moved around to face the unknown person.

"Jake! Hi" I say while hugging him. He is one of my guy friends from golf.

"Hey Em! I was hoping that I would find you soon. We need to hang out soon." He says and takes a step back. “I heard that you have new friends staying at your house. Anyone I know?”

Hmmm Should I tell him who they are or should I just tell him a small white lie? 

When I go to reply I see Niall walking and call him over, might as well introduce him to Jake.

"Niall! I would like you to meet my friend Jake. Jake this is Niall, he is also staying over at my house for the holidays." I say looking between them. Looking at Jake, he didn't seem so happy, he was looking Niall up and down with a frown on his face. And Niall looked the same. Wow, you could feel the tension in the air alright.

"Well itt's nice to meet you." Niall eventually said.

"Yea, you too."Jake replied. Ok I can't take the tensions anymore, I really want to cut it with a knife!

"Well, I better be off an the rest of my grocery's. It was great seeing you Jake I'll text or call you later." I say with a smile. "Come on Niall." I give Jake a quick hug goodbye and grab the trolley off Niall with him trailing behind me slowly.

Soon he catches up to me. "So.... How do you know Jake?" He asks curiously.

"Oh, we play golf together sometimes."

"Cool.

Eventually we get the rest of the things we need, after buying everything and putting them in the car Sarah keeps on asking us if we could go to the park. And she was definitely putting up a fight just to go. We said no at first and then tried to put her in the car seat she was trying to move out of both of our grips and we almost dropped her a few times... oops! So in the end we gave in and said yes and in return she gave us a big smile.

Once we arrived at the park there were only a few kids around Sarah's age there. But of course she didn't want to go over to them instead she grabbed Niall's hand and dragged him over to the swings. He turned and gave me a pleading look to help him but I just laughed and shrugged my shoulders. I walked over to the swings as well and went on the other one next to Sarah's. Niall was pushing her on her swing. "Higher! I want higher!" She kept on saying in her baby voice.

"Yeah Niall! I want to go higher as well!" I said jokingly. turning away to swing myself higher I feel this push behind me and go even higher. I let out a yelp at this and Niall just laughed at me. He kept on pushing me until I was going really high up then went back to push Sarah. All I could hear was all are laughing. For the first time in a while my mind finally caught up on what I said to Harry. Did I really tell I would go on a date with him next week? I can't believe it! This is definitely going to be be a new experience for me. I mean I've been on a few dates but it seems to end with the guy wanting a one nighter and that's it, they turn into asshole's. Well now that I think about it that can't really happen when I go out with Harry since it's still at my house. Ha I guess that's a good thing now. This makes my smile even bigger.

Harry's POV

Dammit. Dammit. Dammit! Harry why are you so stupid? You should have gone with Emily! Not stay with Zayn playing on the Wii. But of course Niall is having the best time of his life now with her. I can't believe I'm such an idiot! She won't go out with me if I don't spend more time with her and make her like me more. Well it's not bad hanging out with Zayn, the game we got is pretty fun and we've been playing Just Dance as well. So we've had a blast so far. I just really want to spend more time with Emily though........
