Chapter 9!

Liam’s POV

I can not stop texting this girl! This is just so much fun. I’m really glad I decided to play golf that day, or else I would have never have met Lauren. I love her blonde hair, even though its sort like a boys cut, it suits her well. She’s really tall as well; she’s about 5’8 where I’m 5’10. I guess that’s pretty tall for a girl. Since that night after we played golf together we have not stopped texting each other. At first we were just having normal conversations, but I started to like her some more, so I’m trying to start flirting a bit more. But she’s flirting back through the texts though, well hopefully its flirting, but I just need to try and get the courage to ask her out. Maybe the next time Emily and her play, I can meet up with her after the game. Yeah, I’ll do that!

The next morning.......

Emily’s POV

Niall slept in my room last night since Louis had already had his 3 night turn.  We nearly stayed up the whole night talking and laughing! It was lots of fun! It was now Thursday already, I still can’t believe it its almost a week since they arrived but we’ve done so much together. Well I haven’t really talked to Zayn much so maybe I should get to know him better. I should probably talk to Harry as well though so we have things to talk about next week if we go on our date.

Everyone was up and dressed and we just finished breakfast discussing what to do again today.

“It’s sunny out so we should do something fun outside!” Louis decided.

“Ok.... How about a game of soccer/football?” Liam suggested.

“Good idea! But I’m going to invite my friends so I’m not the only girl!” I exclaimed. I lived on a cull-d-sac and there was a pretty big park in the middle, but luckily no playground, although it did have a picnic table and shade. “We can also have lunch out there and have a big picnic!”

“Sounds good to me.” Zayn said, and everyone else agreed.

“Just let me go call my friends and while I’m doing that you boys can get things out for lunch! But don’t make anything unless you know that it will turn out good...” I threatened, they soon got off to work and I went into my room to call the girl’s. I rang Kiara, Lauren and Katelin, they all said yes but Katelin couldn’t make it because she had something else planned for the day. Oh well. I wonder what Kiara’s boyfriend will think when he finds out she playing a game of football/soccer with 5 other boys, or maybe I should text her to bring Blake along. Funny thing is, is that Blake and Jake (who I play golf with) are twins, so that’s how Kiara and him met up and they’ve been going out for nearly 8 months now.

I double checked myself in my mirror to see if my outfit is alright for a game. And I guess it is, (pic on the side!). I just hope I don’t get my converse dirty much those are my favourite!  

!  I head back out to the kitchen to see Harry making sandwiches and the other boys handing him all the things he needs.

“Good job on the food.” I compliment.

“Thanks! I used to work in a bakery back home.” Harry said.

“Yeah, I heard about that. It must have been fun.”

“It really was, but I didn’t really do much baking though, just selling things to people, that’s all.” Harry finished, and then went back to making more food. I went to look through the cupboards to find water bottles so we wouldn’t dehydrate on a really hot day. I started filling them up with a lot of ice and water. Once I finished I found a big bag and put the bottles in there and got bags for the sandwiches.

“Oh by the way Lauren and Kiara are going to play with us as well.” I told them. From the corner of my eye I say Liam’s face brighten up and trying to hold back a smile but cracking after a while. Aww how cute he’s happy to see my friends! Hehe.

10 minutes later we had everything ready to go, all we were waiting on was Kiara, and Lauren. So we just headed out to the park to set up. The boys brought extra shoes with them so we could use them as goal posts. We laid out a table cloth and I put them drinks on them so everyone could grab on, a few minutes later a car pulled up on my drive way and out came Kiara, Lauren and, wait is that who I think it is? No why would they both come? They then turned around and waved at me. Blake put his arm around Kiara’s shoulder and Jake came running across the road to me.

“Hey Em! I guess we get to see each other a lot sooner than expected.” Jake said while hugging me.

“Jake! Hi! What are you doing here?” I asked giving him a quick hug back and stepping back to see Kiara and Blake smiling at me? Ok then...

“Oh Kiara was at our house when you rang and then realised to ask we could join along. But she knew you wouldn’t mind. You don’t do you? Because I really wanted to see who was staying at your house. And when Kiara said it was 5 guys I kinda got worried about you and you know all the testosterone and everything and you can only handle so much. So I just wan-“

“Jake take a breath your rambling!” I said quickly not wanting him to continue talking. Wow he’s nearly as bad as me.

“Right sorry.” He said with a sheepish smile while scratching the back of his neck. I laugh and turn to Kiara and Lauren I run over to both of them and hug them quickly and saying hi.

“Ok well Kiara you kinda already met them but don’t freeze up on me this time? Got alright?” I say to her jokingly.

“Oh my God! Don’t remind me about that! I was so stupid!” She replied while laughing. Linking my arms with both of them I bring them over to the table along with the boys following us and introduce them all. Kiara’s grip around my arm tightened and Lauren left to go hug Liam and they started talking together. Hmmm I wonder what’s going on over there?

Once I introduced Kiara to everyone she let go of my arm and went over to Blake smiling. Jake said a quick hi to Niall seeing as they had already met but the other guys apart from Harry, seemed to like both Jake and Blake.

“Lets get this game started!!!” Louis protested. “I’m going to be one team captain and to be fare on of the girls can be the other captain!”

“Lauren can be captain! She’s really good!” I say and Lauren Blushes when all the attention gets turned to her. But she gets up and stands a few metres away from Louis.

“Ladies first,” She says. “Hmmm, I choose Jake.”

“Emily.” Says Louis.

“Liam.”

“Damn, um, Niall.”

“Kiara.” Damn I’m the only girl on the team. Oh well.

“Harry.”

“Zayn.”

“Blake.” Louis finishes. “Ok i guess we won’t have a referee but don’t try and tackle to much we don’t want to hurt ourselves!”

We all went to our sides, Lauren was in the goals for her team and Harry was in goals for ours.

“Ok on the count of 3 we’ll start” I said while putting the ball somewhat in the middle, “3... 2... 1 GO!”

And the game was off....
