"I Knew"

I knew i would lose you,
All the neverending stories of life,
That we would share in the wee hours of the morning,
I won't have that nomore,

I knew i would miss you,
The scent of your sweet perfume,
Lingering around the warm fresh air,
As i stood outside your house,
I won't have that nomore,

I knew i'd yearn to have you again,
Because everything that we once had,
Were honesly perfect,
Every hour,
Every minute,
Every second,

I knew that  i don't want to let go of you,
but you have your reasons,
I would just have to move on,
And think of us as a beautiful lesson,

Because of you,
I learned how to laugh,
I learned how to cry,
But i'm truthfully not sure,
Whether i am really able,
To say goodbye.
