Chapter 14♾

Lelia's POV:
I called for coach but he didn't hear me over the screaming of our teammates. "Yo Green what's wrong!" Shouted Parker from the other side of the field. "Get Davies please my heel!" I shouted in agony. Coach Davies ran over to me. "Are you alright Green?" Davies said as he ran over to me. "I've done my Achilles." I said with disappointment in my voice. Coach told sophie to go get Louis. As Sophie sprinted for her life Parker and coach helped me up and brought me to the bleachers. Louis and Sophie came running out. Louis said he's rang the ambulance he was about to ring my mum and dad. 10 minutes passed and my mum and dad came through the doors with a look of worry on their face. Louis pulled them aside. Alex and Daniel were in the hall now by my side. Not too long after the paramedics arrived they took me in the ambulance with my mum. With Louis and my dad following closely behind. We arrived and they sent me into the surgery room. I was really nervous. 8 hours later I woke up next to my family and friends they told me the surgery went well but I'll be out for 6-8 months. It was the next day and I'm back in the Greenhouse. Louis called us all down for a school meeting. I hobbled down the steps while we all laughed. There was a girl about our age standing beside Louis she was grinning at me. Louis told us all to take a seat. We were still laughing while the ravens shot us dirty looks. "Alright so usually we don't accept students in the middle of the year but aspen originally got in last year and as for Alanna Spencer she applied earlier this year but never was accepted but we have an opening. Now for the bad news." Louis said. "That she's a raven?" One of the eagles said jokingly. "No, but she's an eagle which means that the ravens have 2 less people and with Lelia's injury we decided that she'll be the new raven!" Louis said not daring to look at me. That bitch took my place. "What!" The eagles but me shouted. "No no no please do not put me with the nerds I beg!" I shouted at Louis. He handed me a bag. As Alanna went to sit down in my seat as she barged I to me nearly knocking me over. She had a grin on her smug little face. She sat beside Brooke and acted her bestie. I sat beside Hayley and Jackie. Louis told us we were gonna do a pop quiz. They swapped my Louie and apparently they moved my stuff already. Their rooms were so much smaller. As I unpacked there was a knock on my door it was Leo. "Look Lelia I know we aren't friends or whatever but you're a raven now and ravens help each other out!" He told me reassuringly as he put his hand out so I could grab it. I grabbed it and he pulled me out to the clubhouse to study.
Brooke's POV
The eagles walked back to the clubhouse I really like Alanna. We were laughing the whole way to the clubhouse we got her settled into Lelia's room. I never noticed how big it was. "Here it is and the bathroom is just out there!" I told her pointing to the locker room. But there was another door in the room. I opened it and it revealed a bathroom. The whole eagles were shocked. That spoiled brat. We went back to study.
Lelia's POV:
Aspen had been a real pain all day. I couldn't help but think about the eagles. Becca seemed to just kind of follow me around like she was a dog and I was a dog treat. Not too long after Suzanne walked in. I was a bit nervous for the quiz because I'm not the smartest but I didn't want to let the ravens down they should be able to go to the beach and shouldn't miss it because of me. I was sat between Hayley and jackie. It's now or never.
Third person POV
As both teams sit down Suzanne prepares them and tells them what there going to be doing. "Ok ravens listen up, each student will be asked a question in turn. You are NOT allowed to help each other. The eagles are being asked the exact same questions. Aspen are you sure you want to participate?" Sauzane told the ravens. Which she told the eagles but the words changed a bit. "Positive." Aspen replied. "Ok Leo we'll start with you." Suzanne said as she pulled out her Louie. The question was; which member of George Washington's cabinet died after a duel? Leo and Sophie were asked this question they both got it right with the answer Alexander Hamilton. Both teams erupted into applause. The next question was for Aspen and Alanna. The question is as followed; what style of paining was developed by George Surat? Aspen and Alanna both got it correct amwith the answer pointillism. Everyone clapped but Lelia and Hayley. The next question was for Daniel and Lelia. Which performing artist is known as the king of rock n roll? Without hesitation Lelia and Daniel both answered with Elvis Presley. Which was correct. The teams were level. Next up was Parker who got a math question. Parker had to find the equation of a graph. He got up and used the trick Sophie thought him. He answered y=6x+9 which was indeed correct. Next up was max and Tammy there question was, who was the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball. Tammy answered quickly with Jackie Robinson which was correct while max was struggling but he rembered and he also said Jackie Robinson. With it all square next up was Alex and Jackie. There question was, what do you call a two-dimensional array made up of numbers? Alex said a Matrix which was correct Jackie was struggling but she said Back to the future. Which was incorrect. Hayley and Seth had a piece of music to listen to and had to guess who composed it. As it came on Aspen started singing it which mad hayley quite annoyed. But she gave an answer her answer was Handel which was correct and Seth got it correct aswell. A few questions later it was max's turn he purposely got it wrong so their wouldn't be so much pressure on Jackie. Hayley and Aspen got in a fight. But it wasn't to serious. Lelia's first day with the ravens wasn't a normal day. It was the last question and it was American lit. Which aspen and Brooke were answering. The question was which novel ends in the line. "So we beat on, boats against the current, Bourne Back ceaselessly into the past?" Aspen struggled with this one as she named all the books she could think of, mob you dick, Tom Sawyer and many more. None of them were correct in the eagles clubhouse Sophie was getting frustrated with her best friend because this was her favorite book yet she couldn't rember. After a minute or two broken said she didn't know Suzanne told her the answer which was 'The Great Gastby' her team mates left shocked and her boyfriend confused. That was the challenge over.
Ok so I'm literally so shocked like so many people were telling me how good it was and asking me how I wrote it and I can't say thank you enough like I literally made this thinking maybe someone will see it but just so I wouldn't be so bored but now they have so many reads I'm so thankful for y'all and I have a plan now so what the futures gonna be like and her love triangle and just problems in general so let me know what yous think of the book and any things you would like to see💓 love y'all and I'll try update again in a bit if not I'll have one up tonight because I'm on Easter holidays or spring break which is another week left so ye.
