The day spent snuggling and creating special moments flew by too quickly and it was time to say goodbye.
Jungkook leant close to Jimin, their foreheads touching. "I still don't understand why you're not letting me drop you to the airport," he complained, frowning as though he was hurt but his hands that gently rubbed Jimin's back said otherwise.
"People will know I'll be there. They always do. And if you're there you might get hurt," Jimin said, tone placating. "And I don't want you to get even something as little as a scratch."
"Not to mention if someone spots you with me it'll spark rumours. And that could get you into trouble with the company."
Jimin scoffed indignantly. "That's the least of my worries. I don't want my cute, delicate alpha to get hurt. Is that so wrong?"
"Do I even need to tell you what was wrong with that sentence?"
The omega laughed airily. "You may be an alpha but you can still get hurt. Trust me, people get a bit too passionate at times."
Jungkook straightened up. "Then I should be there to protect you."
"No, honey, I have bodyguards. It's alright."
"Then tell me what I should do."
Jimin hummed thoughtfully. "You must call me everyday."
Jungkook snorted. "You don't even have to ask for that."
"You must work efficiently too."
He smiled. "Next."
"And rest if you're tired. Or call your mom."
Jungkook leaned in close again, they stood nose to nose. "Mm. And?"
"E-eat properly," he stuttered.
"What else?" Jungkook whispered, voice going down by a few octaves as his hand slid down his back slowly.
Jimin blinked, seeming dazed. "Call me everyday."
Jungkook laughed, pecking his nose. "You already said that."
And as though a semblance of sanity returned as the embarrassment kicked in, Jimin pushed at his chest lightly. "Just get the message and say you'll miss me, you dork!"
He laughed again and Jimin just huffed, pouting menacingly. "There's no doubt about the fact that I'll miss you terribly, my cute little kitten."
"I'll miss you too, Kookie," he replied sweetly and then it sunk in. "I'm not a cat!"
"Yes, you are."
"No, I'm not."
Jungkook raised his plans, as though accepting defeat. "You're my kitten."
"Oh, that makes it all better," Jimin retorted sarcastically.
And then they both laughed. And the laughter morphed into lingering kisses.
"I'll see you soon," Jungkook mumbled against his lips.
Jimin clicked his tongue. "Not soon enough."
"Don't do that to yourself, baby. I'll be with you."
The omega scowled. "Not physically."
"I'm in your heart, aren't I? And you're in mine. Three weeks. Breathe. We can do it."
He nodded slightly. "I love you. Don't you dare look at anyone else."
Jungkook chuckled fondly. "I know you do. And I won't. God promise."
