Final battle

Jason and (Y/N) climbed the ladder to the main tent, they saw Gordon in a cage that was hanging over the edge " Gordon!" batgirl called out before she looked around with Jason to see Harley Quinn and some thugs coming towards them before Jason looked up and saw joker sitting on top of a cannon, " welcome one and all to joker's main event! tonight's special act.. the magnificent death of the caped do-gooders"joker then jumped off the cannon to the ground as he pulled a knife out of his jacket, " come in. take a load off, enjoy" he finished as Jason looked towards (Y/N), giving a nod as they both got ready to fight as he said, " oh I will enjoy". 

robin and batgirl began to run towards the thug as they began to throw punches at them, batgirl knocked out a thug before she saw Harley Quinn coming her way, she ducked under Harley's bat before kicking her in the back making Harley fall on her face. meanwhile, Jason was dodging jokers attack before he was kicked to the ground, as joker went to stab him, he jumped out of the way before he stood up as joker said, " what's the matter birdie, not having fun? haha-haha!" Jason just looked at him in anger before he ran towards him and attack. he then blocked joker's attack before punching him in the face, joker groans in pain as he turned away from Jason before pulling a gun out on him,  "robin!"(Y/N) called out before throwing a metal pipe towards him. Jason catches it and swings it at joker making him drop the gum. joker looked back at Jason as he punches him. 

batgirl smiles as she throws a Batarang at the locks of the cage that held Gordon, the chains broke as the G.C.P.D made their way inside the main tent and points their guns at joker and Harley Quinn who was standing at the edge of the tent. joker then grabs Harley and points his gun at her head, " back off or the sidekick gets it!" he said as he and Harley laugh, joker then looked at batgirl and asked, " what would Batman do?". batgirl stood her ground as she thinks of her next move, this made joker laugh a little before he pointed the gun at her while saying, " well... it's been a blast". everyone stood their ground before joker aimed at Jason, " no!" (Y/N) cried out as the gunshot rang out and she tackled Jason to the ground making him miss the bullet, " next one's for you, kiddo. Toodle loo" joker said as he pushed Harley towards the cops and jumped off the edge of the tent as he lets out a hysterical laugh. the G.C.P.D looked over as they watched joker glide away with a parachute, " run Mr.j... run!" Harley Quinn cried out as she was placed in handcuffs. 

(Y/N) helped Jason up as she said, " thought you said " robins were good luck?" " well he missed, didn't he?" Jason said softly before (Y/N) was about to run after joker, but Jason grabs (Y/N) hand stopping her in her tracks, " batgirl, we'll scoop him out later" he said. batgirl took her hand out of robin's grip as she said, " He hurt my friend Jason" they both looked at Gordon before robin took a step towards her and said, " he's safe now, that's all that matters."  (Y/N) knew that Jason was right, then Gordon walks up and asks, " you two okay?" robin nodded his head as he shakes Gordon's hand and said, " we're good, commissioner" " you saved many lives tonight, including my own. thank you" Gordon replied with a proud smile as batgirl turned away as silently says, " your welcome." Gordon and robin could see that something was wrong so Gordon asks " you sure you're okay, batgirl?" but before she could reply Harley Quinn yelled out towards robin and batgirl, " this isn't over! we'll get you!" she yelled out. " get her outta here," Gordon said to his officer who dragged Harley Quinn away. but when he turns back to the sidekicks, he saw that they were gone, "I guess some things run in the family" he said to himself before getting back to work on making sure his officers were safe, 

meanwhile robin and batgirl were sitting on a rooftop looking at the city around them, " what a night, huh?" Jason asked as he takes off his mask, (Y/N) nodded as she also takes off her mash letting her hair down, "yeah" she said as she was thinking about something, Jason looks at her as he knew something was up, " hey. are you sure your okay, cause you are having your moment when your thinking about something" he said. (Y/N) sighs as she looked at the city in front of her and said, " joker nearly killed my mother and I have been trying to catch him since I became batgirl. I want to pay for what he has done to my family." Jason understood her and smiled, " and I'll be with you all the way" he said to her. (Y/N) raised an eyebrow and asked, " how do I know your not lying to me?" Jason placed his hand on top of hers making look down and to see a single red rose in her hand. she lifted her hand in shock before turning to Jason with a smile, " cause robins are good luck" he said to her. she smiled as she placed her lips on his, the kiss was slow and full of love. they break apart for air before Jason warped his arms around (Y/N), "I guess they are." she replied. but what they didn't know was something horrible was about to happen to them, something that will change their life forever.
