Jade's P.O.V

I can't believe that little prick. For a second I actually thought he could......no wait what am I saying!? I don't like HIM. This will help me get him out of my head. He has a girlfriend.....or maybe that is his friend, like a close friend.....like a really, REALLY close friend. Why am I even talking about this in my head.

"Are you okay?" Darcy asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Just checking." She answered.

As we got to our first period class I found three seats at the back of the classroom. I sat down and Darcy sat beside me. There was an empty seat in front of me.

"So did you do your homework last night?" I asked Darcy and as I tried to find a pen in my bag.

"Shit........." Darcy started to say as she was trying to figure out which page our homework was last night.

"Hey Darcy do you have a pen, I could borrow?" I asked as I watched her flipping through her text book.

"I do." I heard a deep voice coming from right in front of me.

I looked up to notice a really attractive guy with nice brown eyes smiling at me. What do I do? Do I say 'hi'? I mean what happens if Brent finds out about me talking to an attractive opposite gender as me? Wait..........what the fuck am I doing, Brent doesn't care about me.

"Hi." i said and smiled back at him.

"I'm Derek and you are?" He asked as he handed me his pen and sat down at the table in front of me.

"Thanks and I'm Jade." I replied. We started talking when....

Brads P.O.V

I was walking down the hall where Darcy and Jade went and peeking through the doors window. There are a lot of rude people at this school. I've gotten flipped off more than once, but smiled at from hot girls more than 5 times not my personal best, but it will do for the morning, I got yelled at by two teachers which one of them was my favorite until now. Never seen that side of her. I also had walked in on the wrong classroom. My bad.

I was at the last classroom of the hall.

"God please be it." I said to myself.

I looked through the door window and saw Darcy. Yep this is it. I walked in and went straight to Darcy.

"Hey Brad, whatch-ya-doing here?" She asked

I stopped for a second and noticed that there wasn't any teacher here and that it was well into first period.

"Where the hell is your teacher?" I asked.

"Way to totally ignoring my question and I don't know sometimes the teacher comes in late." She replied by rolling her eyes.

"Lucky and sorry.....what was your question again?" I felt a little bad not answering the question.

"Never mind...." Darcy said before we heard laughing coming from the people right beside her.

I looked beside her and there she was. JADE. Damn Brent got a nice mate. I looked to see who she was talking to and it was Derek......Shit. REALLY?! After I saw that my smiled drop.

"You know something." I heard Darcy saying to me.

"No I don't." I shot back to her.

"So what do you know?" Darcy asked.

"Whats the deal with Derek and Jade?" I asked Darcy.

"Way to ignore my question again, but I don't know. They've been laughing like that for a while. Wow this makes me see how forever alone I am. Its kinda sad." Darcy gave me a long reply.

"Hey, so I know that we just met and all......" I over heard Derek talking to Jade.

I put both hands on Darcys desk to lean in closer to Jades desk. I can tell Darcy doing the same thing. Shit I have to tell Brent this! Hey she could say no and I don't have to crush Brents little heart.

"But I was wondering if you want to go to a movie tonight?" Derek asked Jade.

"No you can't do that." I said and Darcy and Jade heard me, but not Derek he was too busy looking at Jade. Shit what do i say now?!

"Ummm I mean cause it's Thursday. A school night. Duhh everybody knows that its inappropriate to go out on a date on a school night." I tried my best to fix my cover.

"She's okay. God Brad why are you doing this? Say yes Jade." Darcy hit me.

"Ouch!" I growled at her.

"Okay!" Jade said to Derek with a smile.

Are you kidding me!?! Why do I have to tell Brent? He's going to rip my head off........How do I even tell him.....'Oh hey Brent, yeah your mate just got her self a date....and guess what its DEREK who is her date tonight. They are going to the movies on a school night, so yeah they wont being staying out late.' should I start with that or go lighter like 'Yeah....so you know since I'm like your best friend, best bud.....

'SHE'S WHAT!?' Brent's voice boomed inside my head.

Shit I accidentally mind linked Brent. I was just planning what to say. Crap now what!?

'Who she? what are you talking about? Are you okay? Do you need to go somewhere, I don't know like ummmm....Lets play some pool. You like pool!' I started trying to change the subject.

"Are you okay?" Darcy asked concerned while putting ger hand on my arms.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be. I'm fine. Just peachy. I'm just going to get my head ripped off, but either than that I'm fine." I said smiling.

"Well, okay then just making sure." Darcy said as the classroom door opened.

"Shit. You have this teacher? Mr.Windsickle" (sorry couldn't think of a good teacher's name) I asked looking around to figure out a way, so that he wouldn't find me.

"While if it isn't my favorite student of all time. Did you miss me and that's why you're here?" Mr. Windsickle said in his sarcastic voice. God I hated when he used to do that.

"If you won't call my mom again on me then yes. Hi Mr. Windsickle. Now that that's out of the way, the question is did YOU missed me? cause if you did, here I am." I said with my sarcastic voice.

His face started to get really red. I missed getting in trouble by him.He was about to say somthing before I cutted him off.

"Yeah okay nice seeing ya. Gotta go bye." I said as fast as I could and ran out of the room. I heard everyone laugh.

Right when I turned out of the corner and out of the school to get to my car, I saw Brent standing beside my car. His face is really red.

"Fuck." I said softly to myself and smiled and wave to Brent and started to walk to my car again.
