~One Shot 1: I Wanna Dance in the Dark~

  It was late evening and you had just gotten back from work, you were a grim reaper and had reaped the souls you had to for the day. Your wife, Grell, on the other hand didn't care much for work, so she was already home. You walked through the front door of the home you and Grell shared and you saw her fiddling with the record player. "Oh, darling you're home! Perfect timing, I had a surprise for you!" said the red-haired reaper. You smiled as you settled into the house and kissed the reaper on the cheek. She smiled widely as she continued to fiddle with the record player until she finally got the music playing, it was ballroom music. 

  "May I have this dance, darling?" she asked, holding out her hand, bowing. You take her hand and say, "Why of course," and you both start ballroom dancing to the music across the house, the sky outside slowly getting darker as the sun starts to set. The music was lively and you two couldn't keep your eyes off each other as you swayed to the music. It was peaceful. You two kept prancing around the house until there was a knock at the door. 

  You both froze then Grell stopped the record player and walked over to the door. It was William, he was there to inform Grell that she had souls to reap that night. With a sluggish sigh Grell said, "Ugh, alright. Just give me two minutes," and came back inside. You ask, "What was that about?" "William said I still have a few more souls to reap tonight, so I'll have to get going." You shook your head, "Oh William. Alright, I'll see you later tonight then?" Grell smiled and said, "Of course! We'll continue dancing as well!" Grell grabbed her death scythe and opened the front door. "I'll see you later darling!" she said. You smiled and waved her bye as she closed the door and was off to reap souls.
