Aizawa watched Midoriya during his test. He did well but still didn't use his quirk.

When it came to the ball toss he activated his quirk and caught Izuku's hand before he could throw it.

Aizawa was expected to pull the smaller body but then Midoriya surprised him.

The capture scarves were twisted around the teens arm and Aizawa was yanked forward.

"Carbon Nano Fiber and Steel weave capture rope a good weapon when you don't want people knowing about it." Izuku said.

Aizawa had tried pulling it but Midoriya was stronger then him.

"I've seen enough." Aizawa said "You aren't taking this seriously."

"I am." Izuku said.

"They why aren't you using your quirk?" Aizawa asked.

"Cause he doesn't have one!" A spikey haired blonde shouted.

Aizawa raised an eyebrow. "Is that true?"

"Yes. But I can be a hero without one." Izuku said.

"No. You can't." Aizawa said.

"I trained...I studied...I-" Izuku said.

"No. You can't. I don't know who put it in your head-"

"No one." Izuku said under his breath.

"Mind repeating that?" Aizawa asked.

"NO ONE!" Izuku shouted "No one put it in my head. No one helped me. No one believed I could even get passed the entrance exam."

"Well everyone was right." Aizawa said.

"I've trained. I've spent years to-"

"Too nothing. You can't be a hero without a quirk and you shouldn't have even entered this building." Aizawa said "You're a liability."

Izuku closed his eyes. Tears were threatening to fall. Tears he hadn't cried in years.

"Go to Nezu's office. We'll be finishing this discussion later." Aizawa said.

Izuku didn't look at the class. He knew he'd only see looks of disgust from them.

He walked away not seeing the looks from the students. Looks of empathy not hatred.

Nezu office

Izuku sat in the waiting room and was called in.

"What made you think you could be a hero?" Aizawa asked leaning on the desk with Nezu going through some paperwork.

"There isn't a rule about it." Izuku said.

"He is correct however I trust Aizawa's decision." Nezu said "I noticed your file has a lot of blanks in it. No legal guardian and no address."

"My mother is dead to me." Izuku said leaning back in his chair "I haven't heard her voice since I was 7."

"Then where do you live?" Aizawa asked.

"I don't." Izuku said "I sleep 5 minutes every 2 hours and eat school food."

After a few minutes of Nezu calling and hearing something that caused his face to sink. "I see..."

"What?" Aizawa asked.

"It would appear she is currently in the United States.... permanently." Nezu said folding his paws "Well this is a problem."

Aizawa looked at Izuku but no reaction. "We'll figure out your living arrangements later."

"So if I'm expelled you can just wipe my record and I can try for another school." Izuku said "I'll be out of your school and you can pretend I never existed."

"Not so fast. We can't erase a record." Nezu said "Or can we transfer you. Expulsion is extreme but we do have the other courses."

Timeskip 2 months

Izuku turned a screw on a device in the back of the support course.

"Remember class you'll be Demonstrating your inventions in the tournament." Power-Loader said.
