The Immortal Ninja

Part 1

Naruto was looking after Mavis for a little over 4 years sadly the island was attacked by another guild and there was only 3 survivors Naruto, Mavis, and the guild masters daughter Zera.

POV Naruto

As I was walking around the forest with Mavis when I heard faint running.  Curious I went to where I heard the noise.  I was surprised that what I found was a little girl. 

Naruto: "Hello there little girl why are you in the forest all alone", I ask.

???: "I was walking to school when there was a sudden explosion and everything went into chaos." She said.

Naruto: "Do you know if there were any other survivors?", I asked.  

???: "No I have no idea if there were any other survivors." She said in a sad tone.

Naruto: "Well then hat is your name??"

???: "My name is Zera." She said in a sad tone.

Naruto: "Well then Zera how would you like to cone and live with me as your Guardian." I asked

Zera: "I guess I don't really have anywhere to go now." She said in a really sad voice.

Naruto: "Well since you agreed let me introduce you to my daughter Mavis." I said smug as I noticed my daughter behind my leg looking at Zera shyly.

Mavis gathered her courage come out from behind me and say hi to Zera.

Mavis: "uhh Hello there." She says shyly.

Zera laughed a little at her shyness before saying hi back.

Zera: "Well hello there, so I'm just going to ask what are those black orbs on your back and that black cane for? you don't look so old that you need something to walk with, though you do look pretty old you have the gray hair down and the long gray beard."

I laughed at her curiosity

Naruto: "Well to settle your curiosity I will say that I am a sage that is why I look so old, and the black orbs are called truth seeking orbs the cane is made out of one of the orbs."

Zera had a look of shock as if something clicked.

Zera: "Ohh your the sage I was learning about in school and how you are so old you were here before the people came to the island.

Naruto: I laughed nervously I didn't know they were learning about me in school.  "Hmm what did you learn in school and for your information I am not that old though the fact that was here before your people came is true."

Mavis cuts in.

Mavis: "Yeah you are your well over 1000 years old.

Naruto: I looked at her with a look of betrayal and said. "Say one more word on the topic and you can kiss you books goodbye fore the entire week."

Mavis had a look of horror on her face and went quite. while mumbling about the books and if it was worth loosing them for an entire week.  Mavis gave a sigh and didn't say anything after that.

Naruto: "Well anyway with me as your guardian your last name will be lost and you will be Zera Uzumaki." I said.

Both Zera and Mavis smiled at that

After we got home we showed Zera were she will be sleeping and show her around the place.  It wasn't much it was a wooden cabin with four rooms a master bedroom two small bedrooms and a living room.  After a while Zera went to sleep and so did Mavis.  I sighed and wanted to get off the island but was stuck until other people arrive or I make a boat myself and I don't want to do that.

------------Time skip---------------

The Next day when Mavis woke up she immediately started reading her books. I laughed at her want for more knowledge.  She was reading one of the many books I have made over the years about magic. 

Naruto: "You know if you want to know about magic you can just ask me right, Mavis." I said smiling

Mavis: "I know it is just I want to get there on my own and not have to rely on anyone." She said with a big smile.

Naruto: "It is always good to rely on someone if a problem is to great to handle on your own." I said.

Mavis : "I know, but still." She said

I laughed at her.

Naruto: "Stubbornness will only get you so far little fairy." I said

Zera who was watching laughed a little alerting me that she was awake.

Zera: "That was a good one" she said laughing.

She hadn't been here a day and she already new that Mavis was  obsessed with fairy's. 

Zera: "So are we going to leave or are we going to have to stay here." she said

Naruto: "We will have to stay here for the time being. I said with a smile.

Zera smiled a bit which is good in my opinion seeing what happened to everyone on the island the day before.

Naruto: "Well we won't have to wait long if you really want to get off the island so bad we can make a boat and go to the main land, however that will take a long time." I said

Zera: "I know." she said with a saddened tone.

Naruto: "But hey cheer up you have me and Mavis with you." I said

Zera: "Yeah I guess. she said.

Naruto: "Besides Mavis needs someone to talk to that is not her old man, and to get her away from her books.

Zera smiled and laughed a bit

Zera: "Yeah she does need to get away from her books." She said.

Mavis who heard us all most on instinct began to argue with us about her books.  Me having wrote most of the ones that she has read don't see why she is so interested in the topic of magic.
