Hi, I'm Lila, Lila Stewart I'm 17, I live in New York City, I go to Bronx high school, and I have two amazing best friends who are likefamily to me. So now that you are all caught up let's begin our messy, complicated, and kinda romantic story, shall we?
Monday:
"Hey," I said to my best friend Christine as I approached her. "Hey" She replied. "Wanna go for ice cream at Polars (our usual hangout) I asked. "Sure" She replied."But first, let's wait for Giovany to leave practice." I said.
*She nods*. Giovany was my best friend, him and I have known each other since kindergarten. We met Christine in 3rd grade and every since then we've been inseparable. In 7th grade Christine and Giovany realized they had feelings for each other after being forced to kiss in a game or spin the bottle, so they soon later started dating and have been ever since. I guess in a way i've kinda always "had a thing for him" but of course, I cant ever say anything about it, for a number of reasons but the most important one being, I couldn't do that to Christine. I would be ruining our entire friendship over a guy. I also wouldn't want to make me and Giovany's friendships awkward. So i've just decided to stay silent and we've continued our lives normally, well until, actually you'll see.
After school:
Giovany was finally done with practice and we were off to polars. Where we ordered lots and lots of ice cream all day. My mom owned the place so I guess you could say we have special advantages to order as much ice cream as we wanted..until it was time for us to study then sadly we had to stop stuffing our faces and start working.
Me and Giovany always got cookie dough with extra chocolate chips which we both absolutely loved. While Christine on the other hand always got mint chocolate chip with no toppings, which I and Giovany strongly disliked. Me and him were sorta always alike and in sync, ever since we've met each other. We had already got our ice cream so we went to sit down in our regular booth where we talked all night, mainly about our super important science project that we had barely worked on yet. Until my mom came from the back and said it was about time to close up. Me, Christine and Giovany all hugged, said our goodbyes and headed home.
