One thing you always dreaded about being in a relationship with sebastian was how he was always on the go. before the pandemic hit, he'd always be busy with filming & travelling, going to meetings or interviews or comic cons, auditions & sight seeing— the man was a busy bee. you kind of knew what you were getting into when you first started out around the time of i, tonya's release, but you still were a bit naive.

your relationship with sebastian involved lots of physical touch, along with words of affirmation. your love language to him was providing him physical comfort, making him feel at home & loved by your touch while his was with words & always reminding you how he appreciates, cares, supports & loves you. you both even each-other out like that.

but with him gone for periods of time, it's always hard to adapt to the change even though he's been away from you multiple times. sebastian tends to miss your touch & how you made him feel relaxed, he misses your voice & getting to hold or be close to you. while you miss his little words of encouragement & small kisses he'd pepper across your face.

luckily, with the pandemic, you both got to spend lots of time together in your small home. you & sebastian's relationship got stronger than you ever thought it could & you were happy you got to wake up with him, spend your day with him & then fall asleep next to him. it was simple, which was enough for you.

but when things started to ease with the pandemic, which meant filming would resume, you dreaded sebastian having to leave once again. you felt as if you were acting selfish after having a whole year with just him, but after getting to used spending all your time with him, you weren't sure what you'd do without him.

routines were always hard to break from.

you grew more dependent on him & you didn't even know that he felt the same way. with his busy lifestyle, he never gets the chance to relax & spend time in one place for long. but with lockdowns, he was able to feel like he was living a 'normal' life & he loved getting to spend all of his time with you, he's cherished it a lot over the last while.

& he wasn't too excited to leave either.

"seb?" you mumbled against his chest, snuggling into his side more while you both were watching wandavision on the tv while wrapped in warm blankets.

"hmm?" he hummed, letting you know that you had his attention.

"how long are you gonna be away for?" you questioned, fingers running up & down his chest slowly.

with a sigh, he paused the show at the part where wanda & vision were saying their goodbyes in the finale.

"i don't exactly know, but i expect i'll be gone for four or five months" sebastian said, making you pick up your head to look at him with a small pout.

you definitely were gonna miss being this close to him.

"i know what your thinking" he mumbled with a knowing look in his eyes, making you look down at your lap.

"i just wish you could stay a little longer... that's all. i've gotten so used to you being around, i just want this for like... ever" you said embarrassed, but sebastian hooked his fingers under your chin & brought your face back to look at him.

"i wish i could stay longer too, but if i wanna keep making money i gotta go" he said, making you nod understandingly.

"sorry for being a bit selfish—"

"it's not selfish... i know i put you through hell when i have to leave for long periods, so i'm sorry for that"

"it's not hell... it's just a really, sucky place. you just make everything better & please don't be sorry, it's not your fault seb" you said with a bit of a laugh, making him smile sweetly at you.

"i don't think we should think too much about me leaving though, we should just enjoy the time we have left together. does that sound good?" sebastian asked you while he pulled you to rest on his lap, kissing your cheeks which made you giggle softly.

"i don't wanna say goodbye" you whined lightly.

"we don't have to... we've said goodbye before"

"so we'll say hello again" you replied with a small laugh, badly reciting the lines wanda & vision previously said.

"i love you dork"

"i love you too, like a lot"

"you didn't forget anything did you?" you asked him while you both stood in the front hall of your home, close to the front door.

sebastian had his three suitcases packed & ready to go for his 12pm flight, including his carryon bag which was laying on the floor near the indoor door mat.

"i tripled checked... just like you asked" he said with a smirk, leaning his face closer to yours to peck your lips.

"good" you mumbled, smiling at him.

with his hands resting on your waist & holding you close, your arms around his neck while your fingers played with his hair— you just couldn't imagine having him leave again.

"you promise you'll call when you land?" you asked as he pulled you closer, if that was even possible.

"i promise" he murmured. "i'll call you everyday, audio or facetime— either one" he said as he leaned his face closer to yours, his blue eyes finding comfort in your y/e/c ones.

"i'm gonna miss you like crazy" you admitted, being completely honest with him.

"i'm gonna miss you even more sweetheart, so so much more" sebastian admitted as while, feeling you twist the ends of his hair a bit.

"remember to always stay masked up unless your filming, social distance, wash your hands & keep checking your temperature—"

"i promise you i will, if anything happens i'll keep you updated & make sure not to forget" he said with a smile at your protectiveness.

"i'll see you in a couple months alright" he mumbled before kissing you again, making sure to make it long & passionate to really take you in one last time before he goes.

"i love you sebastian" you mumbled against his lips, diving in one more time due to temptation, making him smile into it.

"i love you more, i really do"
