Chapter 8

Third person's POV

After Chaeyoung had received his trophy they all went to White Cross which is Dahyun's bar, now they're partying in the private section, well at least not anymore, Chaeyoung and Mina's friend went down to the dance floor to dance leaving Mina and Chaeyoung up at the private section.

Chaeyoung is at the railings looking down at their friends having fun in partying and dancing—even Ashford Daniel who was usually not this hyper started hyping up and dancing with their friends—or at least now having fun laughing and dancing with Jihyo.

"Are you really this quiet with other people?" Chaeyoung asked sitting back with Mina with distance between them, the girl just nodded her head before drinking.

"Well to lessen up the awkwardness I'm going to introduce myself." Chaeyoung said, Mina looked at him.

"You don't hav—"

"I'm Azai Chaeyoung, I'm an artist and a racer, I love art, I like taking pictures, I like strawberry too, and I'm your partner..in the movie." Chaeyoung said giving Mina a deep dimple smile that made the girls heart skip a beat—'What just happened? Why did my heart do that? So weird Mina!'

"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" Chaeyoung asked chuckling holding his hand out in front of Mina who looked at it for a while before taking it with a smile.

"I'm Hendrix Mina, I'm an actress and a model, I love traveling, listening to music, and I might like a little bit of art." Mina said with a smile shaking hands with Chaeyoung.

"Not awkward now aren't we?" Chaeyoung asked, Mina nodded her head before Chaeyoung let go of her hand—'Why do I suddenly miss the feeling of his hand on mine? And it fits perfectly like it was really carved to be holding my hand..' Mina said in her thoughts as she also retrieves her hand and took her glass.

"So now that we aren't awkward anymore why are you still quiet?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Like what Nayeon unnie said, I'm really this quiet around other people that I'm still not close with.." Mina answered while Chaeyoung nodded his head.

"B-but I'll warm up e-eventually." Mina added stuttering that made Chaeyoung giggle—'Why stutter now Hendrix?!"'

After the night that they all drank together and separated ways after, they didn't see each other again due to their work. Chaeyoung and his friends are going to the agency once in a while for their work, but most of the time they're attending their known work. And same goes to the girls who attended to their works individually.

And now Chaeyoung is just sitting on his couch playing with his ps5 until his phone ringed and a notification came.
