Well, she thought, this is going to be one long journey.

Alex walked through the big glass doors, Andrew and Mr. Brown right behind her. Her eyes widened. May I remind you, she has never been to an academy or school.

On her left was the reception, which was nicely decorated, and a woman was sitting behind it, absorbed with some work she was doing on her computer. On both sides of the wall, a bit far away, a long line of lockers stretched all the way to god knows where. Many students were talking to each other, while putting or getting stuff from their lockers or rushing to classes. Teachers were also going here and there.

Many noticeboards were on the walls, bearing different notices, like the art exhibition they were going to have that Thursday and the Talent Show next month. Between the locker gaps, were doors, that obviously led to the classrooms. Alex could hear the chatter of the students. She turned to face her brother and father, and beamed.

Andrew came and stood next to her. He threw his arm around his sister's shoulder, and beamed, looking just like Alex.

"D 'you like this?" he asked.

Alex looked at her brother, eyebrows raised.

"You don't know? Honestly?"

"If I should say the truth," Mr. Brown suddenly said, patting Andrew on his head, making him huff, "Twins really act the same sometimes. You're as oblivious as your sister," he shakes his head, smiling.

"Of course I love this, my idiot of a brother," Alex hissed, playfully hitting his arm.

Then, when Alex looked around, everyone was staring at them. Well, mostly her. She sighed. Why, she thought, in the name of GOD is everyone staring at me today?

"Dad," she wailed, looking up at her father, "why's everyone staring at us? Again?"

Mr. Brown looked around, saw everyone staring, and cleared his throat.

"Students," he said, "This is Alex Brown, your new schoolmate. Please welcome her to our school, and help her if she has any difficulties. Now that you know who she is, please go back to what you were doing."

"Yes, Mr. Brown," literally EVERY students chorused and went back to whatever they were doing.

Alex curiously looked up at her father.

"Dad, who the hell are you to this place?" she asked hesitantly.

Mr. Brown tuned over to look at Andrew, eyes wide.

"Don't tell me that you didn't tell her," he muttered.

"What else do you want me to say, Dad?" Alex questioned, a fake look of puzzlement on his face, "D' you want me to say 'What d' you mean, Dad? I've told her everything!' when it's actually the opposite?"

"Unbelievable," he groaned back in response, "That's what you are. Unbelievable."

He then turned to Alex again, grinning a little.

"Umm... Alex..." he started, "I might, or might not, be the principal of this school."

Alex groaned, facepalming herself.

"Wow umm...." she said, unsure of what to say, "Okay, I'll need a bit of time to process that, and, er, Andy, come with me and let's goto the first class we have."

And, with that, she grabbed Andy by the hand, and was about to drag him when she said,

"Oh Dad, by the way, see you soon!"
