Chap. 11

*1 year and a half months had passed*

Byul's POV
Eun is 2 years old by now. She's productive, healthy but soft. She likes playing at the park where Yongsun and I go back then. She even plays with Cho when he is there. They become friends and Cho protects her from the other kids.

Whenever there is a time, we usually go to the beach and the company as well. A lot of our employees like her because of her cuteness. But she's scared when people approached her in the office, so all of them is just greeting her with a smile so she won't get scared.

"WAHH!" Yongsun and I look at each other and run towards where it came from and saw Eun in our bedroom.

"You okay? What happened?" Yongsun checks her and hugs her as she cried.

"T-There's a spider," she cries and points at the door.

"Don't worry it's small," I said and kill the small spider. "See it's gone," I said and wipe it out.

"I-It didn't bite you appa?" She asks while sobbing so I bend down at her level.

"It didn't," I smiled and caress her hair.

"As long as it gets killed fast, it will not bite you," Yongsun said and smiled at her.

"You should be brave because it's not the only thing you should be scared of," I said as she faces me.

"T-There are?" She said and hugs me.

"Yes," I need and stand up to carry her.

"Like bad people?" She asks and hugs my neck and hurry her face.

"Yes, so don't be scared of small things. As long as you know that it will not be a big thing," Yongsun said and kiss her face.

"Let's go downstairs now, eomma already cooked dinner," I said and walk downstairs while she's still hugging me.

"What's for dinner?" She said and pulled away a bit to face me.

"Your favourite!" Yongsun said.

"Woah!" She exclaimed as I put her down the chair.

After we had dinner, I take a shower first and both of them is sitting on the couch playing or reading books. Eun has a lot of books, books that I think every child want. She really enjoys listening to it when I or Yong read it to her.

At the time I finished taking a shower, I walk downstairs with wet hair. I walk straight to the living room and I saw them eating gummies while watching some cartoons.

"How dare you!?" I ask aggressively.

"Ahh!" Both of the shouts and flinched. "Don't scare us like that!" Yongsun said.

"You didn't invite me," I faked cry. I just stand on the spot where I was until I feel a presence pulling me.

"Don't cry appa," Eun said and sign me to sit beside her so I did. "You're taking a bath so as we wait for you, we watch cartoon and eat gummies," she said and feed me gummies. "Right eomma?" She asks.

"Yeah," Yongsun said and nods.

"Aren't you supposed to take a bath as well?" I ask her and she nodded.

"Can I have a shower after we watch, eomma?" She looks at Yongsun.

"You can!" Yongsun said with a smile.

Yongsun and Eun are in the bathroom because Yongsun helps her to take a bath. While me, I'm here in the walk-in closet picking up their PJs. I grab the towels and put their clothes on the bed.

"Turn around," I heard Yongsun said so I open the bathroom door with towels in hand. I saw Yongsun is squatting at her level and Eun is shocked.

"I thought you're done," I smiled and she glared at me.

"I'm not appa," she smiled sweetly.

"Babe, you bring a towel?" Yongsun said while rubbing a wash clothe on Eun's neck.

"Yes," I said and she rinses all of the soap on her body.

"Done!" Yongsun said and kiss her cheek.

"Come here," I walk towards her and bend down. She jumps up so I catch her with the towel. "Here is your towel too," I give Yongsun her towel.

"Thank you!" She smiled and kiss her cheek.

"How about my cheek?" Eun pouts while pointing at her cheek.

"Here!" Yongsun and I said and give kisses on both of her cheek and she giggles.

"It tickles!" She said and pushes our face away.

"So go put on clothes now," Yongsun order.

"Yes ma'am!" Both of us saluted to her and she giggles.

"I'm taking a shower now, go!" She said so we walk out of the bathroom and close the door.

"Can you read me a book after I wear my clothes appa?" She said while I put her down on the bed.

"Sure!" I said and started to help her wear her clothes. "Done!" I said as she finally wears her clothes.

"Can we just watch cartoon instead?" She said and crawl to the bed.

"Sure!" I said and sit beside her. I also open the TV and put the cartoon that she likes.

We're in the middle of watching it until Yongsun walks out of the bathroom with wet hair. She looks at us but we smile innocently.

"Hi?" I wave at her.

"I thought you're asleep princess," Yongsun said and sit on the bed as well.

"I'm not feeling sleepy yet," she smiled and look back at the screen.

"But it's 9 already, you should be asleep by now," Yongsun said. As her eomma said it, she grabs the remote from my hand and turns it off.

"I'm going to sleep now," she said and yawned.

"You better be miss," I said and she crawls towards me so I lay my back down.

"Goodnight," she said and lay in my chest.

"Goodnight," Yongsun and I said and kiss her.

"Eomma?" She said while her eyes are closed.

"Yes?" Yongsun said and lay on the bed facing her.

"Can you sing me a lullaby?" She asks and Yongsun smile sweetly.

"I would love to," Yongsun said then started to sing and hum.

While she's doing that, I pampered Eun's back and butt slowly so she can go to sleep fast. I also closed my eyes while listening to Yongsun as well. Her voice is warming enough that both of us can relax our body and go to sleep.
