Owen Grady x Hybrid Raptor.

Chapter 6

Hunter POV

I ran out from under the table that i was almost squashed under, towards Owen and Claire who were running away too, Owen stopped for a moment and i turned into a raptor and he jumped on my back, half way he grabbed Claire and put her on my back and i ran through the building, i could hear a helicopter maybe two? oh it doesn't matter i ain't hanging around with that thing here, we stopped at a cliff where it gave a good view of the aviary and we saw that the Indo had bursted in which could only mean one thing, i started slowly backing up into the trees, we saw the helicopter that Mazrani was in go down. I felt tears fall onto my back it was Claires i purred in sorrow and she stroked my side, whilst Owen stroked my neck. "GO! GO! GO!" Owen shouted at me as the Pteranodons flew towards us.

As i ran we finally arrived at the park, Claire and Owen got off my back and i turned into a human, still wearing the clothes that i took i was surprise they even lasted this long. Claire had gotten a phone call from her assistant who was supposed to have been watching the boys saying that she found them and that they were safe.

Owen was able to grab a quad bike and told Claire to get on which she obliged to, i turned into a raptor again, i was starting to get tired of all this turning but i still hsd energy and hell i was going to use all of it till i can't even move anymore, Owen had taken out my collar and put it round my neck which helped the employees know i wasn't the threat. As we arrived at the main park where everyone was cramped together all we saw was chaos, people screaming, crying, running and all. I once again became human and Owen got off the quad bike along with Claire. With the collar uncomfortably tight around my neck, i grabbed a gun along with Owen and ran. We started tranquilizing the pterodactyls as Claire climbed on what i think was an ice cream truck shouting for Zach and Grey her two nephews, suddenly as Claires attention was diverted to her nephews Owen was attack by the flying pests, i lifted my gun and tried to shoot it but i ran out of tranqz so the next best thing i did was i turned into a raptor and attacked the dino bird. I snapped it's neck and turned into a human, just as i turned around i was greeted by a kiss from Owen. I stood still shocked as he held my waist close to him but i sanked into the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck and slightly going on my tip toes, and then we let each other go.

To be honest it didn't feel weird, i was his best friend who he kinda raised. Over the time that i was able to turn into a human i was remembering things about my past. But i ignored them since they weren't happy memories, i could tell that Owen would want to talk about this later but still... I now knew i defo liked him, but there was a task at hand and i couldn't divert my attention from the mission we had.. Kill the Indominus.

Claire ran to the boys just after i saved Owen, Zach the eldest spoke "Who are they?" "Oh, that's Hunter she can turn into a raptor.. long story which is for another time and that's Owen her boyfriend i think now." The little one eyes widened he wanted to say soemthing about me being able to turn into a raptor but was cut off by Owen "Let's go. We gotta go."

Claire was on the phone to Lowery when suddenly she said something that caught not only my attention but also Owens "What do you mean us the raptors?" I groaned "Son of a bitch!" Owen and i had said this in unison which got us told off by Gray the little nephew "You shouldn't say bitch." That made me laugh but then Owen whilsted getting my attention, i turned into a raptor which astonished the boys, Owen pointed to a car near by and said "Follow. Drive." Eh more like orders but still he got on my back and i sped off to the raptors enclosure. As Claire was driving backwards the boys rolled down their windows and shouted "Can we stay with you?" Which Claire responded to "I am never going to leave you as long as i live." "No no them." They pointed to me and Owen who shrugged, Claire had entered a small space where she parked the car and i stood beside her. When we got to the raptor enclosure, Owen jumped off my back and i was immediately put into a box where they tried to a metal muzzle on me, i tried to fight but they had still put me in the box, my head rested on the metal mussle uncomfortably. Owen was to busy punching Hoskins that he hadn't seen what happened until it was too late, the boys and Claire tried to stop them but the soldiers stopped them instead.

A low growl erupted from my throat the other raptors had started to speak to me.

Blue "where the hell have you been?!"

Hunter "Oh you know, the normal trying to stop a dinosaur from escaping but of course i am here which means i failed"

Blue "Are you ok?"

Hunter "yep nothing more than a few scratches."

Owen POV

I jumped off Hunter and walked up to Hoskins who had my raptors locked up. I punched him making him stumble a little too the side as he held his face, i looked to see where Hunter was she would have backed me up but instead i saw that she was already locked up and had a camera to her head, the boys had been held back along with Claire, i turn my face back to Hoskins "Get the hell out of here and stay away from my animals." "Hoskins, you wanted this to happen you son of a bitch." Claire inputted, Hoskins face had turned into disgust "Oh jesus. How many more people have to die before this mission makes sense to you?" I really wanted to punch this guy again "It's not a mission it's a field test" Barry corrected him. "This is an Ingen situation now. Ok, there are going to be cruise ships that are going to show up hear at first light, everyone is going to get off this island and your gonna watch the news and see how you saved so many lives no, no better yet how your animals saved lives." Hoskins was right in my face, and i was contemplating whether to head butt him or not, i looked at Barry and he said "They have never been out of containment but your beta Hunter. It's crazy." Hoskins was shouting orders in the distance telling everyone to move. He went up to my face again "This is happening with or without you." I sighed in annoyance, it's better if i was with them. "Fine."

We went into the office room and there was a map in the middle of the room.

After explaining the plan, we all headed out, the raptors had been moved onto a truck and to the site as planned.
