"Thanks A lot mal, now I have detention" I said rolling my eyes. "Hey, it's not my fault you decided to skip 2 classes" She smirked. "Yes it is! You said you wanted me to help you with your royal duties. Instead I ended up buying you ice cream" I said.
"What? Ice cream is good!" She said laughing. "Well you could've waited until after school!" I said. We heard the door open and Carlos and Jay walked in. "Hey, what's the fuss about?" Carlos asked. "Mal made me get detention!" I said. "How?" Jay asked.
"She tricked me saying she needed help with her royal duties, Instead she made me get her ice cream" I said. It took 1 hour to get ice cream?" Carlos asked sitting on my bed. "No, she also made me get her $50 worth of candy" I said. "Mal you really have a sweet tooth" Jay said. "Don't judge" She said biting into a chocolate bar.
"Anyways, what's up?" I asked. "Nothing much, just wanted to see you guys" Carlos said. "I didn't, But carlos made me", Jay said. "I'm kinda hurt, how did Carlos want to see us but not you" Mal said. "I'm just tired" Jay said yawning. "Well I'm going to hang out with ben, see ya" Mal said walking out. "Soo..." I said.
"I'm gonna go now" Jay said. "No don't!" I said. If he left it would've been really awkward. "Why not?" He asked. "Uhhh...I need help with homework" I said. "Why don't you have Carlos help you, he's way smarter than me" Jay said walking out. There was silence between Carlos and I before he spoke up.
"So what do you need help with?" He asked. Thank God I actually needed help with homework. "Uh this" I said pulling a paper out if my backpack. "Evie, we already went over this in class" He said. "Didn't you hear? I said Mal made me skip 2 classes, so I wasn't there" I said. "Oh right, well let's get started" He said.
Time skip...
"And we are done!" He said smiling. "That was really confusing" I said. "Well is it now that I explained it to you?" He asked. "Well no, now I get it" I said. "I'm gonna go now, see you tomorrow blueberry" He said before walking out. I was thinking about him before mal came in. "Hey, how was your date?" Mal asked me smiling in a teasing way.
"It wasn't a date" I said blushing. "Evie your blushing...do you like him?" She asked. "Well..." I said and she gasped. "You like him!" She yelled and I covered her mouth. "Shh! He might here you!" I said. I removed my hand from her mouth. "You two will be so cute!" She said. "But we've been friends our whole life and I don't wanna ruin it" I said.
"Evie, it's obvious he likes you back. Don't you see how he blushes when we enter their room, or when you guys hold hands?" She asked. "Maybe he does like me, but he's to good for me" I said. "Evie no he isn't, you guys our like soulmates" She said. "Do you really think so?" I asked. "Of course Evie, I would never lie to you" She said. "Thanks Mal" I said hugging her.
I separated from the hug. "I guess I should get ready for bed" I said. I took my shower and wore this to bed
